Can we get a mod to close this thread as there are proper resources to go through to have a suspension issue resolved and not the general chat on the forum?
Majlwoj, just because "everyone else" is breaking the rules does not mean that it is ok for you to do so, or that it is unjust for you to be punished. The only difference between you and these other people (at least based on your retelling) is that you got caught.
And you are in no position to say that your banning was unjust. It's Cryptic/PWE's house and they make the rules. And guess what, you agreed to them all.
Ironically If you had reported them instead of just throwing it back at them, they may have ended up being the ones with the ban.
Either way, you broke the rules, you got caught, you got punished. End of.

Lol... this thread is the only thread out of all the ones I've ever made has got more replies. Then again I haven't checked the others for a week or so now. I also can't seem to remember what they were intitled:) I'll stop whining. I just wanted a question answered and I have all the feedback I can ever handle lol...
ONLY Gold Members? See now that's another problem we must address, lol...
Not sure why anyone thinks the OP is capable of following the rules. If he were, he'd know that posting threads about moderator/GM action is also against the rules.
Maybe now he'll get a forum ban too...
"Participation in PVP-related activities is so low on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis that we could in fact just completely take it out of STO and it would not impact the overall number of people [who] log in to the game and play in any significant way." -Gozer, Cryptic PvP Dev
I come here to play the game and talk to people on chat. I am silenced every single time I begin to talk on chat because people can't handle the same rude verbal behavior when it is reflected on them. I mean I have heard some of the most disgusting verbal behavior in this game and a good portion of it is direct towrds me in an indirect manner. I do NOT deserve to be silenced and I ESPECIALLY do NOT deserve my account to be temporarily suspended because a lot of the same people who group up against me in chat have band together and made complaints about me. I really despise Hippocrits and their hippocritic ways. PLEASE, unsuspend my account?
So you see someone breaking the rules in chat, therefor you think it is ok that you break the rules and now are pissed off because you got banned for it?
Sounds about right.
First of all, because someone else is not getting caught doesn't mean its ok -- and when you reciprocate, you're then just as guilty so when it does catch up with them, you generally get the same ban stick.
Said NO to Arc. Gets punished by not being given a free outfit, free lobi, and free shuttle. Now forced to use Arc's site when trying to get to STO site. Still not rewards for beta testing the Arc website by force. Bravo Cryptic.
nabreeki, I don't buy your comment because, I have recently been temporarily suspended and I haven't received a single email or contact from Cryptic regarding my suspension either. While I respect Cryptic, the devs and the GMs, there is no reason for Customer Service not to communicate with the player whose account has been suspended.
They don't send you any emails regarding your suspension and they don;t even tell you how long the suspension is for.
I had to send in a support ticket asking why my suspension kept going on and off and I have yet to receive a reply. I only found out why I was suspended after submitting a support ticket, as was suggested to another player in an older thread.
I'm not criticizing Cryptic for this as I admit that my temporary suspension was my own fault but it really is inexcusable not to inform the temporarily suspended player why they were suspended and it compounds the issue by not letting the temporarily suspended player know for how long their suspension is.
Communicating seems to be a lost art, and while I've tried to be patient, and have tried getting a response via support tickets, it's like pulling teeth out of an angry lion trying to get a response.
Don't get me wrong, if someone deserves to be suspended, then they should be. But not informing that user to read the ToS, the rules and neglecting to inform that player how long the suspension is for isn't fair to the players, who are left banging their heads against the wall simply because Cryptic won't respond to inquiries or give any information that pertains to the suspension.
Nobody's saying that user names should be revealed, but letting someone know that their account has been suspended, that their account is being reviewed and how long their suspension is for, should be communicated on a limited level.
I honestly don't buy your post, OP. A game suspension only occurs after you have received numerous warnings regarding prior TOS violations. If you were suspended, then you have been repeating this behavior numerous times, after numerous warnings explicitly telling you NOT to continue that pattern of behavior, and look where you are now: suspended and crying on the forums for a Dev to grant you, and only you, a reprieve from the punishment you had coming for your behavior.
Your suspension will probably be either three hours or twenty-four hours, and if it is twenty-four hours, than it is likely you committed a very serious offense against the TOS.
It's time to reflect and repent, my child, we are all friends here.
Hi guys i am glad we are all here i hope star trek online takes each complain seriously as this has reach my limit with the game in the new season 10 update it was bad enough to tolerate all the ship store tier TRIBBLE each time i had to purchase a ship what a mess it is now then how it used to be i know a mate had stopped already playing the game because of this issue but this is not my complaint my complaint is the way you have change the galaxy its all over the place instead of being neatly layed out and you new where you are going you could easily click on a place and you are there now i feel like OMG stay away from this game for good not worth my time take me an 1hr to work out where i am going now i seriously hope they arnt going to keep this i will come back in season 12 and hope its all fixed up if they havent lost all there players because of this.
