  I'm wondering if the appearance of a Cardassian officer/captain at the meeting at ESD, in the cut scene at the beginning of "Blood of the Ancients" is a possible hint.

  I would like to play a Horta.
  
  I would give commands by writing on the floor in molten lava. Floor would need changing quite often, but you should not discriminate based upon species.
