I want to start by saying that I am biased. I loved Enterprise and I don't view it as the taboo series most people do. Showing further how I'm biased the enterprise was the first ship I bought (the one Jonathan Archer flew).
Now that that is out of the way, is nobody else excited for new xindi ships? especially insectoid ships? I know it's not the Iconian lockbox everyone wanted but I think it's still pretty awesome.
Just brought it up because it seemed to get a lot of hate on facebook, so I'm opening the topic to the forum.
I used to quite dislike Enterprise... quite unfairly when it was first airing
I went through a re-watch on blu-ray when they came out in HD
My appreciation of the show has increased, but I still view it as the weakest of all the later Treks
I loved the Xindi arc season, i would be down for more Xindi stuff
The Aquatic Narcinie is just an elegant marvel of a ship
Thanks for agreeing with me on the ships and giving enterprise another chance, I still think it would have been better if they got the seven or so seasons all the other series got (excluding TOS ofcourse)

Season 5 might have been the Earth-Romulan War, which was an established canon event in Star Trek. Anyways... I'm looking forward to this new box, and I'm actually considering that Lobi cruiser. Also... my Romulan's Intel Warbird is gonna get her standard plasma replaced with the Plasmatic Biomatter. Also... I love the Phased Biomatter on my Phantom. ^^
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Even saying "phased biomatter" just sounds smart :P But yeah, it barely even got into the Romulan story line, there's a kickstarter movie that's trying to pick up on the romulan story line so if that's successful it should be good.
Don't suppose any of ye know if those ships would play well on a sci captain?
Interesting isn't it that the Federation considers biowarfare to be the in thing in the 25th century. Nice to know that we got over our silly idea that some weapons were beyond the pale
Oh, and no. No interesting in lockbox ships at all, never have been and likely never will be. One of the truly bad features of this game.

Oh biowarfare.... the memories.
I'm not saying the lckbox system is a good game mechanic, I think it's terrible. I've just happen to be really lucky with keys I've bought on the exchange. I'm just wondering do you find the ships exciting and is it a big let down compared to the oc==iconian lockbox everyone was hoping we'd get.
I'd love the 'bug ship', if I didn't already enjoy my Armitage soo much. Still holding out hope that we'll get a T6 successor that merges the consoles into a 3-set.
I do kind of like the look of the Ateleth.. if only because it reminds me of some of the Vasudan ships from Descent Freespace and Amarr vessels from EVE.
I don't really see myself going for either ship though; all the little things are what I'm more interested in. My Fed Torp Specialist is going to have a field day with Kemocite-Laced Weaponry and the new Projectile doff.
Also interested in seeing how good the Molting trait will be as a way for Tac Captains to heal themselves on ground. I might mess around with Scarab Plating on my Commando Engineer as well.
Subspace Vortex sounds like it would be an interesting tool for a Vacuum build, but I don't think I'd be able to spare the science slot for it on mine. It will probably be useful for a number of builds and tactics. I imagine it shares a cooldown with other anomalies though.
One of the devs, I think borticus, said dog body models are more complicated and there's so many different breeds at different sizes that they're hesitant to do a dog. Two of the people on the podcast named different breeds they each wanted, and he said "and that is exactly why we don't have a dog in the lobi store".

I can understand how different breeds would be hard but Archers beagle would be cool. I dint think they show dogs in star trek otherwise do they?
Enterprise was entertaining, but Archer was completely irrational, but amazingly lucky (or had a lot of help from the temporal agents). No way they would make an emotional child the captain of Earth's flag ship.
Though, come to think of it Nimitz was a complete EF-UP as admiral of the Pacific Fleet, and we nearly lost the entire Philipines invasion force of 20,000 men because all his officers were to afraid to question his obviously stupid orders.
Not sure about the ships...waiting for more info on them before I decide...I'm more interested in some of those new boff abilites and the Lobi weapons.
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
Gotta say, I'm a bit nervous as to what the Xindi Training Manuals have to offer.
I'm not looking forward to these... I already have 3 of each type of BOff on my main with all abilities unlocked (so I can pick and choose as the build needs)... this just means I'm going to need a total of 27 of these training manuals to keep them all up to date :-/
I've not been enjoying the direction the game has taken over the past year. Based on that, no, I'm not looking forward to them as I'm not going to be spending any money on keys.
Combine that with the fact that these ships look so very meh, and I think you get the idea.

I've been asking myself that since I started playing this game, not to mention the phase pistols I mean we have original series ones
or the non combat Beagle pet.

Well we got Data's cat so who knows

A few. Remember Archer's vacation and the surgically altered lady who tried to get information put of him on the suliban?
Mirror porthos was a Rottweiler
In first contact there were a few dogs
Q tried to give one to Janeway
Odo turned into one
There's a few other appearances, but porthos was the only recurring dog

The Malon ship looks interesting. Hope to get it at a good deal off the Exchange. My Romulan or KDF could make good use out of it.
