Looking at the main topic since I'm in late , there's been some really interesting and varied answers. Excellent topic!

Antonine - my Starfleet engineer (and a char I've had for a long time, if not quite my main these days) finds herself in the chair. She's from a relatively recently contacted species, so has some of that 'passion of converts' going on, and would love to command a picked crew on a long-term expedition into uncharted space. The battles and chaos of recent years means she's resigning herself that she's probably going to end up in Starfleet Operations instead, planning battles that others will fight.

My Orion character is firmly on the bridge of a starship right now, but would probably be more comfortable running some asteroid smelter somewhere, Matron of some sweep of yet untapped riches, looking for one will will and vision to exploit.

An'riel - my Romulan and a scientist. She's found a knack for captaining, and also bizarre command operations, often in alternate dimensions. She's a good fit for trying to chart a course through the insanity that the Romulan people find themselves in these days, I think she'd really do well in the politics that will inevitably surround whatever legislative body replaces the Senate.
Fate - protects fools, small children, and ships named Enterprise Will Riker

Wyteny Yvoot Bey, a tomboyish Bajoran and huge Kai Kira fangirl, was thrown in at the deep end. Fortunately, her blazing spirit and strength of will acted like a floatation device, making her one of Starfleet's most renowned captains. The constant wars nowadays don't traumatise her nearly as much as they would most people.

Yvoot's relationship with her senior officers (Elisa, T'Vrell and Zarva) is a bit different than the usual. They still eat together and play Dungeons and Dragons (twelfth edition) every weekend. Kolez sometimes joins them, although he tends to joke about being the token boy.

In battle, as you may have guessed, Yvoot excels, primarily thanks to Elisa's skill with torpedos and cannons. Their default strategy is "point the ship at the enemy and fire everything", but Yvoot is good at improvisation, so they rarely get blown up more than a couple of times per battle.
I am a radical feminist, and as such have no fear of being controversial. Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and I love it.

Ryan is a soldier, but not in the typical sense. He took an oath to Starfleet and the Federation and views that as a committal to serve as far as Federation principles and his own personal morals will allow him. Sometimes that means working with the enemy and sometimes that means putting his career on the line by mouthing off at the Federation Council for complacent discrimination. He's a soldier - his job isn't to fight the enemy, it's to defend the ideals and principles of the Federation. When the war ends, he'll be thankful to at last be a Starfleet Officer, exploring strange new worlds, yada yada yada...

And in terms of his relationship with Captain Saph, well... you don't need me to connect the dots.

    I'll show myself out.

My main, Archduke Antonio Valerio Cortez III of Hradsburg Prime, will go back to ruling the planetary cluster. But if he can manage a moment of peace to himself, he'll be tending his apple orchard. Maybe write a holonovel about the whole thing.
Cheers from Antonio Valerio Cortez III, Half-Celestial Archduke of the Free Marches Confederacy.

My first character (federation scientist) would become an ambassador, specializing in new species. He'll turn official command over to his first officer, but tag along with her or my Delta Recruit whenever he has an excuse.

My federation Felta Recruit would pick up where he left off in exploring strange new worlds and defending the frontier.

Klingon Side... Each of my characters there would eventually become an independent operator - keeping the crewmembers who agree to keep serving, letting go the ones who won't. While their reasons will differ, none of them was ever loyal to the empire as a whole.

Romulan side will keep bouncing off of the events that fate throws their way, and let their legacy form the way it will. Beautiful as their protectorate New Romulus is, their ship is their home now.

Murad, son of K'mpec will become a dahar master and continue to fight for the empire. Once his father dies he will take over the house and serve the empire in that fashion. Maybe start his own bat'leth school.
