A key member? Hey now; I'm just a player on a game speaking to another player. Why bring fleet affiliation into this? Just trying to help a guy out, one player to another, and it's devolved into flaming. Perhaps this would have been a shot at redemption; perhaps some sort of altruistic switch would have awoken the long-dormant senses of empathy and goodwill lurking deep within my being. We'll never know now.
The worst organization of players concerned about the well-being of female and minor players against potentially questionable motivations behind a creepy thread? Sure, I guess even the heroes are villains to those with a backwards moral compass.

I'm one of those rare individuals that don't need to or want to play word games or mind games to get what I want from people. What you see is what you get from me. I'm genuine.. so, please go play with yourself (and those like you) somewhere else.
And about the 2nd chance thing... what i have found is that if people want to change.. they will no matter the cost to them... AND... if you were interested in changing.. you would already know the reasons why you NEED to.. and anything negative I would have to say to you or about you.. you would already know and agree with to some point... or at least have the humility to consider my perspective. So... no... even if you WANT to change.. you aren't ready to yet.

Worffan, I did't know about Dental until I came to the forums, a good year or so after I joined the game, and even then it took several months!
And instead of letting a potentially innocent player get lured into being trolled, you could have simply asked for clarification, and if it still looked creepy, there are three mods on this forum you can report to using the PM system.

While you may find him as you do, everyone has something that they can agree with anyone else, not always the same thing, mind you. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, so why cant two people that a different from each other not occasionally agree?

As far as "got exactly what was coming to him." I highly disagree, do you really think someone should be insulted for what they post in forums? I thinm there can be disagreement but.... Maybe I get whats coming to me too?
It is a fact that NoP Public Service is the largest channel in the history of sto, and that it has helped thousands and thousands of people get access to free fleet gear and completed fleet bases.
It is true that Shutup Wesley had a party in January and gave out more than six billion Ec in prizes to the community, at least one of every single ship in the game, and a lot more on top.
It is true that NoP is the kdf Dental, and that Shutup Wesley is sister fleet to both.
No group of players has ever been so generous or done so much concrete, positive good for their brothers and sisters in the STO community than Dental/NoP/Wesley. No one has ever even come close to it at all.
It's also true that the world is filled with all sorts of people. Good people, decent people, bad people, even crazy people.

When trying to work out which perspective is valid, and which is twisted, perhaps by madness, or by spite and hatred, always, always, consider the source!
I do consider the source, that's why I did some research on my own. The Recruitment Officer for Dental is/was Nabreeki. I know that NoP is sister fleet to Dental because I confirmed that from a NoP member. This samem member expressed a disdain for "Serious Rper's" that is a common theme in the compalints about Dental that they are basically Anti-RP and crash parites and even did the TRIBBLE when the Spock Statue was first put in.
I understand that successful Fleets/Guilds sometimes get a holes for memebers.. and they think they are some great person because they are in the "best" fleet... and they treat people like TRIBBLE.. this is not the fault of the "Best" Fleet.. but it IS something they have to deal with. Quality Control.. Image Management.. etc. But even the FACE of Dental and Recruitment post present them as Superior and the "Best" fleet ever... they promote themselves as the Ideal Fleet. Part of being an IDEAL anything is to assure that you do not embrace the Worst Characteristics of Humanity or accept those who do so.
Again, i know i am wasting my breath.. but hey... I'm kinda bored and tis has caught my attention a bit.

'Vulcan/Discoball incident'? Could you explain this one to me? I was taking a hiatus from the game when Discoballs came out, so this completely went under my radar.
