New Fleet founders wanted

Greetings.

been looking forward to start a new fleet, however I would like to make it different than the ones that already exist.

1.- All members should have access to the fleet stores from start, If they are contributing to the fleet projects why not share the rewards?

2.- Special fleet projects will be constant, to help those who want to increase their Fleet EC bank

3.- Casual player friendly, because we know you have jobs, and a life AFK, also will help new players get the ropes

4.- Items repository will be open to mebers after their first promotion however when taking something out, something of similar value should go in, or use a 1:2 proportion.

5.- Host Bi-weekly internal fleet PVE events to help get marks easily

6.- Keep open comms between fleet admins and members, for feedback and continuous improvement

If you like the idea then I need 6 brave captains to start this show, I know it will take a lot of time to get the fleet to a good level but if you have a toon to spare why not giving it a chance? :cool:

As founders main responsibilities will be: ;)

1.- Recruiting from time to time while in-game
2.- Check your inbox (This is a must)
3.- login at least once a week
4.- Auditing of fleet holdings
5.- Be willing to offer help to new players, keep an open door policy
6.- Attend the PVE events created within the fleet

    I suspect you will be burned badly (especially on #1), but I hope you prove me wrong.

    may want to be more careful with your openness to your fleet bank. a few really high profile fleets have been emptied by people who were waiting on the chance to do so at the right rank. you would do well to keep the most valuable objects out of sight, but its upto you if you wish to take the chance on others to keep the most valuable stuff out of the bank and the same with funds, at least enough incase the fleet bank does get wiped, the back up funds can be dropped in to prevent signicant trouble later.

    This thread really belongs in one of the fleet forums, but no faction has been identified so I can't tell where it should go.

    OP, if you could please identify which faction you want to start a fleet for I can move the thread to the right place for you.

    If you don't identify a faction, it might get moved to the wrong place.


    I would also recommend that you come up with a catchy fleet name and figure out what your fleet's special "thing" is so you have a target audience for recruiting.

    It will be for the Federation faction in this case, I sorry I got on the wrong place, is my first time around the STO forums.
