Also BoC - can we get a confirmation weather this is inteded or a bug as its listed as the main reason to level multiple delta recruits on the same account.
Dev Blog states they are BoA as 1 reason to make multiple Delta Recruits. Mine are BoC sadly.
sorry, what tech exactly are you talking about? everything the delta recruit earns is bop.. it unlocks items for other characters on the account that need to be collected in person (in character) from the temporal agents.
the only boa item im aware of at the moment is the boa tech patch from the uneasy allies mision that we get once a week for 3 weeks

Incorrect
Q: Is there a reason to create more than one Delta Recruit?
A: Some of the character-specific rewards, which are granted to every Delta Recruit, can be used to benefit your Fleet. And a few of the rewards, such as the Delta Vanguard Upgrade Techs that are earned upon reaching Level 50, can be sent to other characters on your account once they are earned. It is up to each player to determine if that is sufficient reward for their efforts.
I would indeed call this a bug, we do need a PWE response to confirm they are looking to fix it because i wont claim it until they have
I have two that are BoA. I can put them in account bank. Sadly it seems that only one of my characters can get them because they don't show up in the rewards for the mission on the other two.

There rewarded from receahing lvl 50 with a delta recruit, reading what and how you wrote that are u mistaking it with the upgrade from the uneasy allies mission?
I deeply apologize for not having updated our communication on this matter, but this is working as intended as it is currently on Holodeck.
It was determined very late in our testing that keeping these items BoA instead of BoC represented a significant risk for our overall reward structure, and might encourage aberrant behavior among players (Level multiple DRs to 50 utilizing potential XP Loopholes/Exploits, just to pass off the Upgrade Kits). Because of this risk, we decided to change them to Bind-to-character-on-Pickup.
Again, we should have updated our communication on this when the change was made, and we apologize for the miscommunication. We'll see about getting the Q&A updated, and the linked Dev Post will be edited to include a link back to THIS post.

This makes perfect sense tbh.
I was thinking about how this wud be exploited by so many and how it shud have been BoC.

Really bummed about this... it really sounded like you guys were encouraging this, with the way that Q&A section was worded. I guess it makes sense.
Oh, well... at least my other alts will get the chance to enjoy the bonus XP next week, instead of my plans to rapidly level as many toons as I could.
I'm very, very sad to hear that, Borticus (yes, actually more like angry).
But how is leveling up to 50 considered too easy for 2 upgrades (as good as they may be). There's far more you can get much easier (lower levels). Please reconsider this.
EDIT: So there's no possible misunderstanding: I'm grateful you actually even posted here. But I'm honestly thinking these wouldn't have as high an exploitable potential as other features.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
you wanted us to go redo TRIBBLE we did five years ago and offer us a reward so we play old junk then you tell us the reward is only available on the character we are going to throw away at end of recruitment drive that really blows man

Very much this
These were one of the very few things that actually made up for the time lost on the main, i am rather disappointed at this and would likely have not even bothered with a delta recruit had the FAQ been correct, the mark rewards are meh at best and the "epic" ground device means nothing to me as i dont partake in that horror, the EC rewards aren't that fantastic and i could have made the same from grinding ASTF's, i only have the ship trait slotted because its the 4th trait i've unlocked on this account so is literally just filling a slot and with my current build the epic ship device doesn't really do that much for me either
So all in all the rewards for this event are now actually rather on the sub-par side instead of being actually worth anything
In between terrible rewards and PWE's removal of peoples ability to earn zen from surveys i'm now hitting the point where i'm losing interest in this game
well i haven't been able to purchase zen since the new bug ship went live every one of my cars arc denied and my town has been out of arc cards for several months because idiots in local walmart fills the arc card spot with overflow from other game cards. so i am really not very happy with them right now i missed the new bug ship the battle cruisers the new iconic ships and so forth now you telling me the stuff you promised that would be account wide is now stuck on a character i would not play after he hit level 50. yes i am ill . they talk about us using exploits well brother you tricked us into boosting your metrics by telling us a story isn't that like an exploit?

Actually, I think what they want you to do is find these Delta Recruits, with your great big end game character, your upgraded gear, and your indispensable knowledge of this game's systems and quirks, and help them learn the ropes of the game.
The people they want to do the TRIBBLE you did five years ago are new players who are supposed to use the Delta Recruitment event to get a leg up on reaching the end game point you are at currently. Hopefully by the time the next season launches.

It's 2 upgrade tokens... Send BoA gear to your Delta Recruit to upgrade... Problem solved...
they finally got rid of that shameful sleazy survey thing?
Sadly, it was actually decent zen, its how i got bother of my T6 ships, you don't have to be entirely honest in them and a few of the surveys i did even had you listening to music :P

You're overreacting just a tad...
Except the gear i want to upgrade is also BoC, so there is literally no way to get the two to meet, the annoying part is that the Q&A lied to players, if the blog had stated from the word go that they were BoC then people would have had less incentive to actually partake in the event, so to me it seems like it could have been deliberate in an attempt to get users to create more alts, sure it "could" just have been an oversight by cryptic but in either instance they look like idiots

Sorry, but I'm call BS on this... First up... It was clearly aimed at gaining new players and helping them bridge the gap with existing players... The Delta Recruits promo was not about alts for existing players, but existing players were able to benefit all the same...
The tech upgrades being the main driving force behind creating characters, in the vast majority of cases, I personally consider highly doubtful... That's alot of work for a tech upgrade that really isn't all that fantastic IMO...
The Delta Tech upgrades may indeed provide 110k research XP, but you will not receive an upgrade in quality using them meaning they are only really useful for items which are already Gold quality anyway, limiting their usefulness from my experience, as high level items (rep gear and the like) will have even less chance of being upgraded to UR, or Epic, before reaching Mk XIV and requiring the massive resource investment needed at that point...
It was an error in a blog which Cryptic have since come out and officially acknowledged was a mistake... They've owned the mistake when they could have just ignored it...

Hopefully I won't get screwed for having claimed it without knowing it was bugged.
