Miranda class ships everywhere

Ah, the nostalgia of flying this piece of TRIBBLE and having to look at which shield facing is down to take advantage of the situation. I've actually comepletly fogotten what the tutorial story mode was about.

You should come hang out in Tau Dewa, where all the Baby Romulans are hanging out...

Its going to sound stupid, but this is the part of the game i enjoyed the most, the leveling with players who are literally in the same boat as you.

Its not all get the most tact consoles and abilities as you can, how perfect/broken can you make your ship, but more strip a shield bring torps to bear.

    Guess its why i have so many toons ^^;

it's funny warping into an story line system and seeing a fleet of 20 mirnada ships......the pride of the Federation. One FAW with any T6 ships will be enough to wipe it all out.

Still, I'm enjoying revisting the old story with the minor twist

    Steamrunner high-five!

Seriously, Connies and Merandas everywhere. And so far I haven't seen a single NX or Oberth.

Meh, I fly NXs or Steamrunners on the Fed side. Both of which aren't much better. But at least they're not the Connie nor the Oberth.

And at least I can feed them Purple RCS consoles (for that matter, feed it to all my DR newbies). Which is the one thing they all need the most.

Until I got the Steamrunner, I would run the first 10 lvls in a runabout, totally doable.

Being in a Miranda reminds me of StarFleet Command games. Slow, more tactical action in iconic ships.

Kind of reminded me of when the game went F2P .
Back then my Fleet organised a greeting with Fireworks across the multiple instances of ESD and Quo'noS .

... kinda sad that we don't do that now, but understandable considering all that we as players went through ...

I haven't created a new Fed char in a very long time. So all of this Fed Tutorial is new to me. Pleasantly surprised at how good it is.

Oh, the ship is still vastly superior to the NPCs fighting you. Just don't forget to put all power to weapons. :)

    Still..

I think there should be an additional Delta REcruit Reward for getting to LEvel 50 or Level 60 or something. A Tier 5 Upgradeable Miranda.

I'm throwing money are my monitor but nothing is happening. :(

Actually I would settle of a T1 Miranda that just permanently follows you around once you hit Admiral.

I didn't use my NX because by the time i got back to ESD i was level 10 and got my first free real ship which has more slots and better seating than the NX does, alas it remains unused again

I got into my Oberth as soon as I got to ESD! It's doing pretty well too.

I quite enjoy flying the low level ships, it makes you think more tactically than just going in all guns blazing with a T6 ship.
Every shot that misses feels like a massive waste and every enemy torp that lands on you scares the TRIBBLE out of you if you've got a shield facing down!

You actually have to learn to fly they ship not just spam abilities and space-bar mash. :D

I burned my old Neverwinter Starter pack for the Andorian Escort Ship for a change of pace. The fun factor of the ship's look & wing cannons are only outmatched by the hilarity of it being almost as big as a Galaxy Dreadnought while only having 80 something crew. :D

It seems like you're already half the levels through the rank before you can swap ships. You outgrow the NX/Connie almost as fast as you get it. :(

You come out of the Tutorial at Lt 3; thus you still have 7 Ranks to use it - and you can easily extend it well into your Lt. Cmdr Ranks if you wish. The game' space combat does not actually get difficult until you move into Romulan space in the mid/late teen levels - as the Rom ships are the first to use any type of real tactics against you.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

I prefer the Oberth, but I gave it the blue Connie Phasers and the NX Grappler. :)

I got a few screen caps yesterday with dozens of Mirandas at ESD and Vulcan and Space in general.

I passed a lone Samsar returning to Sol System through an entire Fleet of about 99 Miranda Class ships heading out for their first post tutorial missions.
