could all three factions get a new science ship or escort before you drop another tier 6 cruiser on us maybe a a intel based section 31 science or ship or heavy destroyer . or a pilot specialazation fast escort or fast recon surveillance ship for science.. seriously the crisers battlecruisers seem to be dominating the tier 6 ship yards. i am sure the klinks and the roms wouyld love some new tier 6 bird of preys.

Nah, we're good.
...
Devils Advocate answer aside, as much as I love cruisers, new Science ships and Escorts would make a refreshing change of pace. Perhaps even - dare I say it - a T6 Federation Carrier (as in, an actual Fed carrier) with Frigate pets?
Obviously, with the latest release, a T6 "Iconic" Defiant is undoubtedly in the works, which means a T6 Iconic B'Rel Retrofit and an equivalent T6 Iconic Romulan Bird-Of-Prey are also on the cards. I wouldn't be surprised if these ships are being held back until Pilot specialisation makes the jump to a primary Spec. It makes sense - the Command ships are mainly cruisers, but it's likely that Escorts would make more use of the proposed Pilot Boff seats.
Although at this point, i'd still like to see a T6 Luna.
Jus' sayin'.
You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.
how about a heavy destroyer that flys into thick of a group of enemies using pilot spec abilities cannons blazing to drop a payload of special ordanace then zip out at speed
My guess is that cruisers sell better than other kinds of ships (I see them more often in pugs). To the average player, a ship that doesn't die is the best thing ever, and cruisers die less than other kinds of ships. Looking at how the price of zen (on the dil exchange) shot up over the last few days to an extent that it didn't for the t6 intrepid (or the command ships for that matter), Cryptic knows who they're selling to.

These pics i found are of a miranda style chassis but a intrepid style kit bash
it would be a miranda variant but also its own unique ship.
