I won't give away any spoilers for those who haven't played it yet, but I just wanted to say that I enjoyed it very much. So thanks to all involved :D

Shame it was not tested fully though. If you die at the Collimator room you will respawn to an area you cannot leave. Only way out is to quit. Well played :(

I'm totally stuck in it. I get to the room where the blue sphere is inside the force field, and then I can't go any further. I can't find any doors that open. No panels light up, nothing to shoot, ETC. IDK what I'm missing. =(

Just found that out the hard way myself (after spending over an hour just trying to log in, period).

    Typical Cryptic Devs.

So I had to beam out, then beam back in and this time the panel lit up and the door unlocked. Bugs. =(

I got to the very end, suppposed to talk to Sela, no Sela. Way to test these things before you patch them...

    It was interesting.
Only drawback: 240000 Techpoints needed to upgrade the new Armor  from MK XII to XIII.
Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...
    unfortunately:

    NOT LOYAL ENOUGH!!!

That (and the fact that a 50% increase in secondary mode damage works out to be marginal in the actual damage calculation) is why it'll make a great gear set, for Boffs. :P

    i quote myself:
this is a good mission, Denise crosby is great, and the scenario is not boring, but really interesting, and open the door for the new stfs.

the only problem is 2 bugs; death in the maze -> respawn on the platform, impossible to return in the previous room. the second bug is the missing Sela.

I did get stuck on the ledge with the invisible Sela bug, but I read on the forums that you can fly to the Nopada in the Psi Velorum block and pick up, so that is what I did and was able to finish.

    Same here.

Despite the bugs, I enjoyed the mission very much!

I do wish they would fix the bugs though. I get the feeling that I'm missing something from between the showdown and when we got to run.

Good mission though. Would be better if they fixed it all.

You're supposed to run into the Heralds while trying to escape. No doubt Sela exploits this somehow and makes her getaway.

which is odd because it drops to like 140k techpoints to go to Mk XIV

Yes well done devs for releasing a another bugged episode.

    Wonderfull!

Edit: Maybe stop paying those exuberant SAG fee's and putting people out of work, and put a bit more money towards bug testers/QA?

    Just an idea.

Well at least they're consistant... I mean I think the game would go into a collective shock and heart attack if Cryptic ever released something that was either balanced or bug free.

I mean and imagine the world ending horror if they did both. It would be the sign of the apocalypse... lions and lambs lying down together... fire raining from the sky.. Cryptic being competant and releasing bug free and balanced programing.

swell mission apart from the Collimator room bug but what is this obsession with making us replay the mission multiple times to get rewards that are obviously part of the same set.
I only have 3 characters at present and this is a real bore, I dread to think what it is like for players with 5, 10, 15 or more characters.

surely we can have it so playing the mission with one character unlocks the first reward playing with 2 characters unlocks 2 rewards and playing with 3 characters unlocks 3 and so on repeat playing characters if necessary till all rewards are unlocked and are claimable account wide providing each character has played the mission at least once before claiming the entire set.

you want to know how to make this game alt friendly, this would be a big step in the right direction.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

They don't want it to be friendly. They want it to be an endless grind. The more time you spend in-game, the more likely you are to want to buy stuff (so the logic goes).

The mission itself was incredible. Really liked playing through it. The storyboarding in it was very interesting. I like that the player character never really budges, doesn't give Sela an inch of leeway, and stands their ground.

Not sure how it is for Fed / KDF, but when Adm. Kererek first called... I lol'd at my toon's response :P

It's a real shame that the bugs are in fact mission-breaking, and you actually have to leave the mission to bypass it. I really hope that's fixed before next week's new reward is ready.

Incorrect, there is a strong chance you will once at the end, and you MAY need to one other time in the "beam room" if you die to the beams.

Also enjoyed the storyline and mission a lot, and hoping for the bugs to be worked out to stop getting in the way of that.

the difference for fed and kdf characters is negligible... which is really really sad

Same here. Bugs aside, I really liked it. You can tell Denise Crosby had a lot of fun with it.

I loved her "Ugh.. " comment with Hakeev's "secret" wall in the room in the Coliseum building. It was funny to hear her say what she did.

I too enjoyed the mission, despite the bugs.

My favorite quote was the same thing too... Sela talking about people being melodramatic in that tone of voice was just perfectly done.

And this would be a good example of Lampshade Hanging.

Also, patience pays off... clearing the rooms is so much easier/more fun when you can use the 'freeze' function to assign targets...

I just spent half an hour on zone chat at Iota Pavonis and I'm happy to say only a couple people were mentioning the bugs. The rest were discussing the story - which they seemed to have enjoyed - and its potential repercussions to the STO universe. :)
