Go for nothing - "Go for kill" Trait seems bugged with Patch 12.03.15

After todays fix/nerf of the "Go for the kill" Trait it seems totally bugged. It blocks firing cycles of DHCs and Turrets, so when it procs for several seconds nothing happens - means no pew is coming out of the ship, so the CRF timer runs down without the Chance to extend the Duration again. pretty obvious - no pew, no crit, no extention to crf duration. I saw the crf duration once or twice got extended and I managed to get some pew fired, but than it simply goes off.

well, if this is working as intended now, you can totally forget it, not worth to use anymore.

before the patch, this trait was bugged as well, but it was a good bug. bc you could have CRF always active as Long as you crit. this trait finally made CRF comparable to surgical strikes, so you finally could compete that surgical strikes ability without the need of a pure Intel ship. so after todays patch CRF is useless again compared to surgical strikes.

Oh and many thanks to the pvp amish of this game who are whining about every new ability. you got ionic turbulence nerfed, you got this trait nerfed, next will be surgical strikes nerfed. than we can start throwing rocks at each other again. well done.

    In my opinion CRF it is and was better in a xindi escort with 4dhc+dbb than SS3 in a faeht.
    I was hit with CRF salvo that melt my Faeht so please dont tell me that CRF was weak.

    I am sorry I didn't bother to gather logs but I think that from now on I will do that and post the magnitude of damage that CRF can do even without broken Go for Kill trait.

    Noticed this 'bug' too when logging in after the uber quick down time.

    ''While this trait is slotted, critical Hits extend duration of active Cannon: Rapid Fire by 3 seconds. May occur once every 5 seconds'' Does not work :(

    Experiencing the same issues as the OP above, will a dev responsed to when this will be 'fixed' or rolled back to working correctly??

    I'd say "fixed" has different meanings here.
