Crashing from initial cut scene to gameplay

This morning, I thought I'd start a new toon, just for the fun of going back through the game again. I chose to play Romulan. When I selected "ENGAGE", the cut scene began and played through...that is, until it got to the very end and displayed the logo for the game...at which the entire game crashed. Just curious, but has anyone else experienced this?

    I get this problem constantly. I have tried several display options and the computer is set up for optimal graphics, no matter what variations I set it crashes while loading a new area. It's infuriating, and I cannot get any support from Arc except for pre-loaded suggestions for FAQs which don't address the problem.

    Im not alone! I have same problem,cant make new toons.. For me,the game just freeze after the intro,it doesnt crash.
