New Species Delta Recruit

I've been hanging on for a little while now since Delta Rising came out before making a new character. Reason being... I thought they may have given us a new species to make playable. So this is what they've been up to? I like the sound of Delta Recruit so far, but still wondering if a new playable species will come our way any time soon.

What do you think?

What species could it be? (Cardassian would suit very well here in my opinion.)

The initial Delta Recruit info made the missions sound like 'Back to the Future' style action - wandering around the usual missions without bumping into the 'old' you. This would be very cool.

    Since it's a temporal event, I'd expect Borg involvement.
    Possibly the Co-operative or another allied group of Borg.

    Maybe a Xindi species, like the Avians (the Kobali freeze-dry a wayward X-Avian Sci vessel's crew?).


    Anyway, I agree it's the perfect time for a new playable species.

    ferengi for kdf and roms ,talaxian for roms ,kobali ,Hierarchy maybe Vaadwaur and a sto unique dog like species...

    and eps mission rewards could be epic ,scale with level and usefull for pvps. :rolleyes:

    Also Suliban ... considering they're already playable during LoR-Beta ...
    Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.

    If only the REAL Jem'Hadar would be playable..
    Otherwise, I'd go for non-fur felines!

    we could have a competition a combination of create the next ent. and do competitions and the winners species could be add. as a playable option ... :rolleyes:

    I kinda hope there's a new species cause I'm running out of options. And I've created 6 new chars recently filling a lot of niches.

    As of right now, there's only these I might consider making:
    - klingon female: though basically nothing special about her, little clothing customization;
    - andorian: kinda bland frankly (and I already got a blue humanoid: Bolian);
    - nausicaan: it would fit with the pirate-traited Boffs, but having to look at such an ugly char...
    - lethean: pretty much see above with nausicaan.

    That's it. There'd be a benzite as well, but I already got a blue Bolian and I don't particularly like the look of Benzites.
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    Wonder if this is where they'll start expanding into the player races / boffs that are from the Delta Quadrant. We've got a Talaxian PC already (plus Liberated Borg, pre-DR), plus Talaxian, Kobali, and Hierarchy boffs (and Voth, pre-DR). Lots more options to be introduced. I'm thinking Benthan, Kazon, Hirogen, and Hazari - maybe APU too - since we already have their ships available in-game.

    You will only be able to make a kobali and its not a temporal agent but just you past life memories surfacing while you were strapped on an Iconian operating table

    Whatever the species they would bring out I would have to make a Female Fed Eng.

    Could be that this is it for me but somehow I don't feel like going KDF. Hm Z-store holds an option. :rolleyes:

    Vaadwaur or Kobali as a playable race would be great. :)

    Last time we did think that some great new playable race is coming... it was talaxian. :) For lifers.

    I just hope it won't be kobali. Don't like those necromancers! How about krenim, hirogen, cardassian, suliban, voth? That would be great!

    3 Denobulan
    4 Xindi Arboreal/Humanoid/Reptilian (one for each faction :)
    5 Ferengi for KDF/Orion for Fed
    6 Human Hybrids Vulcan/Betazoid/Klingon/Romulan (all canon examples)

    I forgot about another one possibility: A female Ferasan.

    I love my male Ferasan thanks to all the customization (far better than with Caitians), innate (jumping sky-high) and other possible traits. Wouldn't mind a second one, female this time. The big problem, however, is that it would thow out of whack the species balance (2 Ferasans to one Caitian), gender balance (2 female cats to one male), ...


    So, still hoping for a new species or two (or three, or four, or ...).
