Christ even Hobo's have Left the game...the ones who loved all the new TRIBBLE and exploits.....
Hell my friends list was full before DR and a short time after....now its the same people in the same places (ESD / Vulcan etc... for omega minigame / Qonos) the only people i see in OPvP are yourself, some new faces and mjaybird....lol mjaybird for crying out loud...
After seeing this poor excuse for a T6 bugship be released, the blog stealth changed, the weak TRIBBLE excuse, The trend is only going to get worse, why give money to a company that cares nothing for its player base and does not listen to them regarding serious game breaking isssues....

Since this game is F2P and aimed at the casual trekkie, Cryptic should be swimming in money and publish all kinds of new experimental stuff, including PvP things.
But since nothing like that happens and we typically only see "business as usual", I feel they are actually not doing what they really want to do, or are otherwise not ready to develop past cheap UI based and casual stuff, or enhance their somewhat limited engine. Or maybe they just need more time... But I grow a little tired of enduring it between all those Dilithium bins thrown in my face and the narrow gameplay.

Rage about rumour that t6 bug will be super OP Intel cmdr 5front weapons and 6 tac consoles beast, and then the following outrage that it isn't that way but it's the "same" as old bug was so funny. It is perfect example of what am I saying here, shame that you just don't want to see it.

I've not called people stupid, Ive not raged at other players, ive raged at YOU, for defending cryptic and saying "Aww shucks what can you do, just play" when frankly that isnt a good attitude. Dev's can make whatever game they want, but if we dont enjoy it and others agree and stop playing, they've got no income and therfore need to change.

But since nothing like that happens and we typically only see "business as usual", I feel they are actually not doing what they really want to do, or are otherwise not ready to develop past cheap UI based and casual stuff, or enhance their somewhat limited engine. Or maybe they just need more time... But I grow a little tired of enduring it between all those Dilithium bins thrown in my face and the narrow gameplay.
Maybe RSI should include a new stretch goal to make their game Star Trek through acquisition of Cryptic Studios :P

How is power creep since DR any different then power creep when first bug promotion was, or when wells came out, romulans, second bug promotion, sheshar, shield pen boffs, t6, new bug, whatever, you name it..
Rage about rumour that t6 bug will be super OP Intel cmdr 5front weapons and 6 tac consoles beast, and then the following outrage that it isn't that way but it's the "same" as old bug was so funny. It is perfect example of what am I saying here, shame that you just don't want to see it.
See, there was always broken sht in STO. Always.
Name a season since F2P and I will name you a broken sht flavour of that season.
And there is another constant in STO PvP.
