Bort has already stated that the HP scaling is under investigation
I saw that too, however I thought I'd bring it up again from the angle of the Pirate Distress call because even if they maintain their current policy towards fat NPC's that ability is going to require some additional tweaking for the aforesaid reason that it does create some very odd approaches to space combat and most notably in Zalh (in part because health scaling is putting quite a lot of pressure on you while at the same time the pirates can do too much to aleviate it.) From both sides, not just the one we've been focusing on, health needs work.
Bipedal mammal and senior Foundry author.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
Like the premise of the mission helping the kobali escape and repairing the ships etc.
Negatives:
1) The random you have been targeted makes no sense since you don't know what is it that has targeted you and where it is so you can try and avoid it.
2) The level of combat is just way too tedious I got bored and quit at the point where you have to tow the ships kinda difficult to that when am being targeted by the bubble am gonna call it since I don't know what is.
3) By that point in the mission there shouldn't be any combat at all since I already wasted 10mins or more battling the 3 groups of enemy ships you have to destroy.
4) This is a petrol mission and shouldn't take a month of sundays to do.
Summary: Found the mission immensely boring and tedious since it just goes on way too long for me and if it stays in that poor state I and others will not play it rather just skip it so I don't have to be bored out of mind doing that particular part of the mission. I dropped the whole thing since I was fed up by this point and it was no longer fun for me. Also I sustained damage to some ship systems which shouldn't have happened since I was playing on normal!!!! and not elite .
Three times now I have played the better with friends beginning with Xiokel system where you plant a guidance control on a Vaaduar artillery ship. However once I have disabled the ship and defeated the defending Vaaduar, I cannot set the remote guidance and it doesn't even give me the option...Am I missing something? Or is this a bug?
I guess I had to wait until the target ship was back to 100% repaired. That would have been nice to know....
The Zahl System Patrol mission takes forever and lags something horrible with all the nebula effects in the area. Also, got targeted by the huge cannon three times in a row at one point, one right after another. This mission might just be tedious without the lag, with it it's annoying as hell. By far the worst system patrol in Delta Rising.
