M.A.C.O. Team Commander accolade

Hello everyone

today we've been helping a few fleetmates with this accolade

we've been doing cure space and ground ADVANCED flawless doing the whole optional objective with no problem at all...

except one...

their sub goals didn't check as beeing "accomplished"

they still got everything unchecked

i suspect this not to be "working as intended"

or do we have to do the ELITE... version of... oh wait.. there is no ELITE version of those... right ?

so ? please, can someone explain to me where the problem stands, if there is any ? do we have 2 buged fleetmates ? do they have to reroll ? or is the accolade totally buged ?

while i wouldn't object to accompany them doing I.G.E and K.A.G.E i suspect they wouldn't get anything either

and if it is really a bug... i hope you expect to fix it before STO goes 6 years old

I have been trying to finish this accolade as well, and am getting no updates, regardless of completing advanced flawlessly (with all optional objectives). There is no "elite" version of these stfs anymore. What was once called elite, is now called advanced, however, the criteria of the accolade has not changed from "elite." Either way, its bugged for me too, and without the accolade i cannot unlock that Omege Harvester costume set.

I can understand not releasing elite versions of these stfs, but at least fix the damn accolade so it can still be completed with advanced, which is the only option.

Reproduction Steps

1. Look at the MACO Team Commander Accolade and see that the criteria has not been met.
2. Open the STF menu. Notice there are no "elite" stfs for the accolade's criteria
3. Do an advanced borg STF (i did the ground) and complete all the optional objectives.
4. Look at the MACO Team Commander Accolade, and see that the criteria has not bee met.

I know right? Very annoying.. I don't think they really thought this one threw..

And before they put in the Rep. Systems, I have unlocked them all. But missing some acco, and don't have the type Styles for the Omega sets. And I have been playing the game for 4 years. Still can't get my Styles.

I have the same problem. I have played this game years ago and i make all the space elite stf`s now i have return to this game and iam unable complete the accolade eaven i finnish all optional objective in the ground stf`s it does not mark in this accolade as complette. They changet the elite stf`s from elite to advanced and i think they forgot change the accolade goals from elite to advanced....

Same problem here,

Sadly when the DR content came out they changed everything from old "elite" to advanced, They had Elite borg missions in the queue according to some of my fleeties, but they were removed the first week of release since they were impossible to complete.

Sadly the old "elites" became Advanced, and this is whats blocking the completion of this accolade. I tried to contact GM's but sadly all they say is send me a screenshot and we cant provide assistance or ingame knowledge to complete aspects of the game. I got both the replies in my mail box still if a dev is interested in seeing it.

Alas currently as there are no ELITE borg missions one cant complete the Maco or the omega shadow operetive accolade. And to this means they cant unlock the styles that NEED the accolade to unlock them (Omega Harvester and the MACO style 3 or 4 cant remember out of my head)

It would be nice if the accolade could be moved to be "Advanced" instead of needing Elite, OR add elite mode back within reasons so its possible to complete this.

They know it's an issue, it's just they won't get around to fixing this issue, for about a year or better, just like how long it took them to resolve it when reps first hit!

Meh, only took like a year for them to fix the Be'Ves chest plate. Who knows. I do know advocating the problems does give them eventually attention. And costume unlocks are a big part of the game for alot of players :> So I do hope they will look into this and fixing the unlock, Or remove the Accolade or edit it so it works. : >

they had the elite versions? Dang, I'd like to hit IGE now...

I'd probably beat it... I dunno about CGE though... as CGA is completable with no more than 5 minutes left on the timer with a few people using frosted boots.

KGE? Yeah... probably the same as IGE.

Mmm the Space elites were to hard, To many ships kept spawning, Couldnt kill them fast enough with dps skimmies. Or so I was told. Eitherway, people complainted on the forums. Devs removed them as far as I understood. And thus leaving the Accolades bugged as you cant do the elites, since they dont exist. Thus, once more not giving you the option to unlock the clothing pieces. Style 3 for Omega and style 3 for Maco. Both need the accolade.

So the fastest way would be or to add the styles as unlock like the other uniform styles. Or change the accolade to Advanced, Or add the elites back in the queue but giving them a nerf. Still leaving them on an elite level, but with less... Ships swarming :>

Most likely, considering back then people didnt push out 20k DPS easily on one ship.. So who knows. One can only speculate unless the elites get readded.

Dont get me wrong, If its possible to do, then go for it. But if they dont want the elites back, just update the accolades. I'm a sucker for the tailor unlocks. And while most of my old toons have them. I want them on my delta rising toon now to. And I know my Romulan toon still has some issues with her costumes. And since GM's refuse to help and only tell you to go look on the forums for help to unlock the costume parts >.>

I have been the same issues as some in the threads. I am not getting credit for the accolade. I have been trying to get this accolade for a couple years. I only have 1 more STF to unlock to claim it. Unfortunately I have done the mission 3 times on advanced and did not get credit. In the STF Infected: Manus (advanced), my teams complete all objectives and optionals. After we kill Manus, I am not receiving credit.

Reproduction Steps

1. Look at the MACO Team Commander Accolade and see that the criteria has not been met.
2. Queue Infected Manus (advanced)
3. Complete the mission with all objectives and optionals completed
4. Look at the MACO Team Commander Accolade, and see that the criteria has not bee met.

it's still bugged. I'm hoping the devs can get time to fix this... but their focus right now is to reduce the lag that's killing the game.

The news is it's still there.

Now, i'm a layman, so maybe someone with experience can give me a better picture here: how many lines of code are we talking about changing to get this fixed? How many man hours would we be talking, that seemingly simple bugs like this are left by the wayside for years? Are they actually deceptively complicated, and it's a wrong idea to assume you'd just have to change or add one or two words?
