I do not know if it's just my feeling (however I do not belive so), but since s9, I am experiencing too much camera shaking when I fly escorts... disabling the option worked a bit but not enough.
Is there any way to use "follow target" and avoid at all camera shaking?

Playing STO spamming FAW is like playing chess using always the computer's suggested moves
By camera shake, if you mean the camera suddenly starts moving back and forth it's a known problem with escorts and shuttles with a high turn rate and using evasive maneuvers at the same time. Why it does it I don't know but it's been around for a while.

For that issue I use a keybid to immediately fix the camera, however I am talking about the camera moving up and down like a yoyo... It's really irritating.

I have issues with ALL camera shake, ground, space or anywhere else. I looked and didn't see the option at all, hope I'm just not seeing it. For me I couldn't give a rip about the scene shaking when something explodes or blows up, I want to turn it ALL off, it is very distracting to me, maybe it's because I'm 65 and still playing this after a year or more, just fyi I am a lifetime member. I want the option of turning it off.

The shaking when something explodes can absolutely be turned off. It's in the Controls tab in the options menu; set "Enable Camera Shaking" to "Off." I don't think that's what this bug report is about, though.

Maybe try Free Camera?
