Delta Patrol Maps Render issue

Hi,

In almost all new Delta Partol maps i have to set my render scale to 0.45 to get the maps playable.

I have found this has to be down to the increased map detail such as nebula background etc.

I have had up and until Delta Rising NO! issues playing any maps within game, However these maps are just unplayable at the normal GPU settings i use to get good gameplay with no problems but this is not even at 100% of what it can handle.

my Set up is

PC -

Windows 8.1 64bit
Processor - Intel Core i5 3.2GHz
Memory - 4096MB RAM
DirectX - 11

So from what i can gather from other fleet mates etc i should be have no issues running any content within the game.

Can you help?? . . Is this me or the Maps within the game?

    I know this is a potential necro...

    But...

    I really would like to rerun some of these missions but as it stands with the issues I have with frame rate drop and having to drop my render to almost nothing along with other graphical settings it makes them kinda unplayable due to not being able to see what's going on.

    I have zero issues with 99% of content in the rest of the game so why only these missions??

    Is there anything else you or anyone else in the dev team need from me to help with this issue? If so then please ask as I know I'm not the only one with these issues.

    All drivers etc are up to date as this was the first thing I tried, but it made no difference.

    Also having this problem with these particular maps - Although also laggy HUD/Tray all round since the update.

    I would really like to see if anyone has a way round this mainly due to my desire to replay this story arc but can't.

    I have 5 ALTs that need to play this arc but as it stands I can't thus meaning I'm locked out of content unless I go out and spend £250.00 on a new card and PSU.

    So any ideas many one on how I can play this without it looking so bad and getting a mega drop in frame rate.

    My PC is not low end and I have no issues with content anywhere else in game like I've said before so I really don't get why these missions not even the remastered arcs give me issues.

    Yesterday I played that patrol with the Prolac and the Gravic and my system collapsed under me. I did not play this map the first time, but I had always bad game performances here.

    My system is indeed not high end, Dual Core, 2 mb Ram, Ati Radeon 2600, but I had never problems playing this game.

    As is said here. Some patrol maps in DR are not good playable on middle or low end systems. Strange thing is, it looks like only some patrol maps give you these issues.

    Here is my list of [low-end-]GPU-killers among Delta Rising patrol missions.
    1. worst offenders, i.e. visible massive framerate loss (looked like I had Alt-Tabbed to another window, but didn't)
    • Wyanti
    • Sakari

    2. constant full load on the GPU
    • Pansarka
    • Kinbar
    • Shivolia
    • Legira
    • Xiokel
    • Tekara
    • Gerren
    • Nanipia
    • Kendren
    • Ram Izad
    • Nassordin
    • Zahl
    • The Battlefield
    • Jarleth
    • Parein

    in contrast, playable patrols:
    • Argala :D
    • Farn
    • Trakia
    • Nular
    • Rivos
    • Orendal
    • Brothra
    • Kelsid

    I just want to know if there is a fix or summit for this other than making the graphics so low its just mehhhh
