All 4 of my characters, I have no R or T button or graphics to be able to scroll up or move sideways to select powers in my trays. Tried to reset in options but so far nothing works.

Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

Glad I am not the only one. The yellow highlight box that allows you to see which powers you are selecting is gone. You can still select the powers, but you basically have to do it from "feel". Just hope you pressed R or T the right amount of times to get it to the right column.

Still broken after the last patch. Appears the yellow box graphic only appears sometimes and the whole systems seems to be suffering the same lag that the ship UI is having. You just have to guess you have hit R or T the right amount of times and hope you hit the right ability. Only other option is to use your control key and number buttons, which defeats the whole purpose of using shooter mode.

We really need a fix for this soon. Hopefully the ship UI lag fix will fix this too.

This is a huge part of the game, it makes ground combat fun and playable, and has been broken since skill update patch and doesn't even seem to be acknowledged in the patch notes under "known issues". This is ridiculous cause it effects half the game and should be priority #1.

Ok, now I feel dumb, been playing since S6 and I have no idea of what R + T are supposed to do on the ground tray. I think I noticed the 3 yellowed box outlines moving around before, but wasn't sure why.

Could someone explain this for me?

    Uh...
    1. Wrong Thread...
    2. Two Phantom is an Escort and not a Cruiser, and doesn't get cruiser commands.

What you are looking for are the Mastery Skills that unlock as you use the Ship, they are not clickable objects/abilites and will not appear on your Hotbar...

In ground combat in Shooter mode, mouse buttons 1,2 and 3 control the 3 ability icons that are 'selected' by the yellow boxes. default keys to move that box around are R and T, I think. I've remapped them to mouse buttons 4 and 5. Anyway, the yellow selector box no longer shows up, so you just assume you've pressed it the right amount of times.

And when you move the boxes does this assign them to mouse buttons?

Yes. So you never really have to move your hand away from WASD.
