    Drat.

Here I was thinking it was a feature, and shelled out some serious EC to get the good ones I saw for sale in the exchange to supplement my torpedo boat.

    ...

Yeeeeeees, I thought it was a feature. Transphasic torpedoes have a bigger part of their damage bleedthrough shields; it seemed reasonable in my head that using a weapon slot that would fire a weapon that would help soften up the target would be adequate.

The end result was good, but hardly overpowered.

With this nerf on them, I'm probably going to move on to other weapons. They won't be worth using anymore.

Wonder how much help this fix of Boff abilities disappearing will be.

Also it looks the Kobali Boff stays customizable, for now (albeit without tails). Yay!
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

Sorry, you guys should really fire the (or hire a) QA team and get someone who knows how to plan releases.

I know a lot of the team are really dedicated and want to deliver a good product. And they're doing a great Job essentially hacking and modding an engine that wasn't made for this game.

But honestly, it was so clear that pushing all these new systems practically untested at once was gonna lead to huge problems.Makes me wonder if anyone of the Decisionmakers ever worked in the gaming Industry... I mean... Mod Communities have better Business Plans than Cryptic...

All this looks great. How goes the Dyson's Science Destroyer Commander level BOFF abilities bug? Still can't use the Commander science OR Commander tactical abilities. That one is pretty glaring.

As Secondary Deflectors have been released the Dyson Science Destroyer and its Zen versions have been discontinued. Support will no longer be given to these ships. Thank you for your Patronage.

ps. everything is working as intended. Now move along and go buy yourself a nice shiny t6

This is hardly the right thread to mention it though, even if you think it's that important for getting attention to it

Keeping customization that makes sense on the Kobali boffs is good and you should feel good. Now get cracking on adding customization to other special reward boffs. :)

Looks like the lag, long delay on tray commands and crashes hasn't been addressed. All those bug fixes are nice, but the game is still unplayable.

    Question.

If you already...um...went ahead and stuck a tail on your Kobali BOFF, will it stay there as long as you don't change anything?

I couldn't resist the chance to make her like that, given that the Kobali could easily have body-snatched a Caitian, and it possibly...didn't go well. I had thought the tail option was implying that kind of possibility existed.

I think most of the times, costumes are not retroactively changed - but the moment you enter the tailor editor, you may lose your changes.

I suspect there might still be a few players (or at least dead accounts?) that have old-style Gorn...

Any chance someone could look at Thoron infused mines which are broken. They are dropping normal Quantum mines instead of Thoron mines!!!. 40k+ dilithium down the drain.

The problem is, these issues are not widespread; my STO game plays perfectly fine, without anything you've mentioned. Some others experience your issues, many others don't, and etc

That's harder to track down, and part of it could be on your end somehow, for all any of us know

    Hi,

I too thought there was nothing wrong with my tray UI. I mostly play on a Fed Rom in a Scimitar and since the last patch have spent a bit of time on my Fed Sci in a Tac Vesta. I didn't have the issue on either toon or ship... until today. I unpacked the Vaad Manasa Escort on my Fed Rom and I encountered this lag everyone is going on about in addition to the frequently periodic deactivation of all abilities on the tray during combat. Later I unpacked the Pathfinder on my Engineer Fed to get the ship trait and it was there again but going back to the ships and toons that didn't have trouble continued on without an issue.

When you combine this with the extremely bad lagging/rubberbanding being experienced by all, I can see how the game is absolutely unplayable by many in the community at this point in time.

    Regards,

    Snipey47a

Indeed, this is a major problem. Coldsnapped, any news about the UI tray lag fix? It's important for gameplay, a lot gamebreaking imho :(

Well, maybe not everyone is having the crashing lagging problem, but it's the first time in 2 years of playing STO I can't play. It's never been this unplayable. That this problem started exactly when the anniversary event started and that many other players are having the problem, and that my computer seems to be unchanged and performing just fine otherwise leads me to the conclusion that the game is the problem.

You may want you fire your programers as Bajor is just as bugged today for me as it was yesterday....no Omega particles in sight....and now I keep getting Bajor space on all 4 of my characters. In Short....Im now locked and unable to complete the event daily on ANY of my toons. So congrats for breaking it even more for me at least.

Precisely. The tail will stay there til you press purchase on that character. As long as you cancel, you can go in and you'll keep the tail. Buy one change, and the tail is gone forever.

What I WANT is for them to make tails available for alien gen characters.

But the guys who fix the trays are not the same that fix the costumes.
