Rubber banding and disconnected

What is going on with the servers today? The worst rubber banding I've ever had, and I've been disconnected twice in less than 30 minutes. This is ridiculous!

    ESD current situation. Emergency teams have been dispatched, unfortunately, they are stuck in a login queue.

    Same here. Horrible Lag and Rubberbanding on ESD and on Vulcan i get disconnected every minute

    On a more serious note, today's lag is brought to you, courtesy of the Crapstick R&D department.

    It took me about a minute to walk from the exchange to Q on ESD because of the rubberbanding. It is unplayable
    Have you tried the new forum on your phone?

    This just in from the Crapstick Corp of Engineers:
    The recent influx of Omega Particles is playing havoc with the delicate biological components of the core servers. The hamsters are suffering strokes, heart attacks, and worse yet, a small percentage have devolved into a strange creature called a "developer".

    These "developers" are currently running roughshod over the core code of STO, making "improvements" to the overall game.

    I seriously am done with the game for a while. Not because of the event as such - but because the straw that broke the camels back was the unnecessary change to the (already bugged) ability tray.

    I just wanted to log in tonight, have a beer, chill out. Only to find the game is a yoyo on a rubber band, the ability tray is not only broken - but all the icons have changed (meaning I can no longer just drag and drop from memory).

    Its just become a chore. Instead of looking forward to spending my free time in STO its become more of 'sinking feeling' of apathy.

    Not a fun way to spend my time I've realised.

    I'll be back, just not sure when.

    I just got home from work, and getting the same problem, and I hope they fix this ASAP tonight.

    All the rubberbanding and lag made the featured episode so incredibally stupid. I mean seriously nothing better then being on a time table, and being rubberbanded backwards into open space and dying over and over again just because of lag.

    Yupp, pretty much impossible to do the "event daily" as you gets pulled back 2 steps for every step you take.....event failure complete...

    I didn't have a lag problem until I set foot on ESD. K7 seemed fine to me.

    ESD and the Academy are unplayable for me. Everywhere else is fine.

    Its been like this for quite some time now. Usually only at specific times and not all the time though.

    And nice to see they're starting out the anniversary event the same as the Winter Event. They'll figure it out in a few weeks.
