i heard about a 500kdamage weapon but what is the real top damage weapon in game

seriously i heard a guy say he had a poloron beam array that did 500k damage but i figured he was kidding. but really what is the strongest weapons in game what are the modifiers that give them that extra punch. i have personally seen bioneural warheads hit for 24k with torp powers applied. but what is the deadllest

    CritD is the mod you're looking for. No doubt whatever beam array he was using it had CritD on it and used beam overload to hit 500k, though I've never seen any single weapon hit for that much. You sure it wasn't 50k? :P

    I've had high-yield bio-molecular torps crit for over 120k, and neutronics for over 140k. And I think I've had a high yield omega torp crit for well over 150k.

    he was talking about selling one on the exchange but i think he was kidding. so if i have most of my antiprotons stuff with critd x3 i should be good to go?

    The best single damage I've done in one strike was with my Mogai's IPB. TAC Captain, APA, APO3, Pop Aux Battery, good Particle Generator Skill (at the time... this was long ago now), decloak, attack, got the "Expose" effect, and fired the IPB before the Decloak Dmg Bonus wore off. It crit for about 230k dmg, the Apex of my many uses of that attack/console. Couldn't make it a regular thing, typically it would be in the 150k-180k range.

    You might have some very high numbers with the T'varo red ball of death, I can't remember mine, but it was scary. Just don't use it against an opponent using AOE.

    I was also able to make a high damage number using the vesta console that send projectile back to their owner. I was fighting a borg cube, and I probably sent back a big plasma ball, or one of those invisitorp.

    The S'golth Crescent Barrage used to crit for 300k+ before Delta Rising. I haven't tested it since.

    Some of the phaser (other damage also) lances, such as the phantom escort has, can crit pretty high but things have to be just perfect. 120k for me so far

    The temporal disruptrion device and the tricobolt cluster have the most impressive crits i have witnessed so far.

    Don't remember the exact numbers, but it was roughly 90% of a gate in vortex advace
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Ok here is what i saw in a "wizzards of STO" top dpser team video ... one guy in a danube runbout crited 500 with a Cockrane Shotgun , he just opened one of the bridge windows , lighted a ciggar , loaded his shotgun activated Chuck Norris atack pattern and erased from existence a unimatrix ship , one shot . True skill there ...

    Must've been a Q shotgun. Those things oneshot stars.

    I recall seeing someone ISE parse with 8k DPS from a Galaxy X Spinal Lance. For a single weapon with no Overloads/Rapids that is freaking high.

    Against unshielded targets the Tvaro Ball of Death has almost unlimited potential since it blasts everything in 2.5Km sphere for up to 200k damage.

    Single weapon, initial hit?

    uhh.. think the highest I've personally gotten is around 250k with Omega Plasma Bolts on my tac torpedo specialist when the stars align. Their highest non-crit with it was around 70k via Vanquish and Go Down Fighting. I still haven't gotten around to upgrading the launcher to see what it can do at mk14 yet.

    The real terror of the build is all the nasty plasma burns stacks that build can do though. Very different playstyle that takes a completely different skill-set from traditional energy or kinetic builds, however(activating proper attacks just before certain tubes cycle, keeping things away from you, switching targets before they die, etc.).


    Otherwise, I know the Guramba's Siege Lance, Kumari Wing Cannons, and Elachi Crescent Wave Cannon can all get some pretty heavy numbers in the same ballpark. I have a rather fond memory of ripping apart about half the Voth capital ships in a wave of the Undine Battlezone using the latter.


    I find my 4xDBB Eclipse to be a lot more reliable with its 100k~ volleys than most of these 'gimmick' weapons though.

    Javelin (Gurambas Special) on a gate for 375k (galaxy-x spinal lance should be able to do the same).

    Lihim of the dps-chans did a 1mio overload from kumari wingcannons.

    And though its not exactly a one-hit, I also happened to nuke a gate from 97% to 0% with tempest nadion bombs (though they fire more than one bullet, but it was one activation).

    This should sum up the top-DD-one-hitters in game. Of course those factor in buffs, debuffs, and crits&crtd.

    Or possibly the Phantom's phaser lance on a heavily debuffed target. I've gotten hits of 150k and that's with my sci toon, a tac capain would be able to throw APA and GDF on there, too.

    The most damage *in one volley* would undoubtedly be buffed Nadion Bombs against a cluster of debuffed targets. That requires the right conditions which a good team can achieve.

    yeah i know console weapons kick butt but i was referring to more universal weapons that anyship can rock for the most part beams cannons tops andf the like

    I have never seen anyone hit for that high. I pretty much just beam overload everything (beam boat with high critical severity and low recharge times) and, in general, my damage per strike is somewhere between 25K and 50K.

    Pre-nerf tricobalt mines with a dispersal pattern could do 500k+ damage to an unshielded, unresisting target. Which is why they got nerfed. There's no other normal weapon I know of that can deliver a hit like that. Some of the special weapons can, in absolutely perfect circumstances, do that much damage across multiple targets, but not a beam array with any amount of buffs. You got sold a line by someone.

    yes i am sure he was kiding i was wondering tho whast is the best damae you could get out of regular weapons i have seen some on the the exchange that look decent with 110 ctitical serverity

    Ramming Speed, especially if it crits, kicks up some pretty high damage values. Other than that, Neutronic + torp spread is pretty potent, as well as the Guramba's Javelin.

    Level 14 cannon weapons within 5k during STF's dealing 200 -300 damage what a joke; was really worth spending all time and dilithium.

    I've done a 100k+, single hit with the Kumari, i'd imagine someone with good ship building skills could get a lot more.

    I've hit over 150k with Beam Overload 3, but I've heard about Lance weapon and High Yield torpedo hits that have made that seem like nothing.

    the new T6 intel lances hit for hard as hell, I run the phantom and hit for 250k is my highest i seen, my friend has the Faeht Intel Warbird and i saw his hit for 460k. neither of us have everything maxed out so i can see that number going up but its a very circumstantial weapon wont get numbers like that all the time.

    The hardest single hitting weapon in the game... I think that would have to be that polarised tricobalt torp thing the boss Vaadwuar ship in Korfez uses, routinely hits me for upwards of 400k

    Intel ships can use override safeties. More power is more energy damage. So with uncloaking bonus, Crits and consoles and now even XIV gear (consoles - be it tac or universal ones) you can chew off quite a bit of the enemy. Firend says he one shotted a Recluse in PvP wit hthat lance.

    With torp HY2 My bio-molecular torpedo has done around 36k, and the neutronic torpedo is about 25k for me. This is on a Benthan assault cruiser with a counter command build. I have done many pve's with folks pumping out 6 figures of damage. I play more for fun and would rather not be that powerful, seems to be a bit of a bore.

    The reflect on that shipped is insane. I have hit a Tac Cube for 350k. Then again it depends on your particle gen and incoming damage on how much it reflects.

    The highest single damage weapon in the game would be a working Tricobalt Torpedo Launcher MK XIV [Ac/Dm] [CrtD]x4, however, since mods don't work on tricobalts, it's the Temporal Disruption Device.

    Anyone cares to disagree, beat a max one-hit of 667,238, and then go talk to Marshall about how you did.
