You're doing awesome!

Just wanted to say: thanks!

The forums make it look one way, but I think most STOers are like me, and enjoy the game, and are happy we've got people like you looking out for us and doing good work!

Happy holidays to you and all you guys!

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

He's the one who created the system which flags you and turns everything bound to account when you buy zen. Outside arc, that is... Oh and when they don't trust you.

I've seen the OP around the forums before.

Oh, wait, I forgot - we're supposed to pile on anyone who isn't relentlessly negative and hateful, and claim that the only people who could possibly be enjoying the game are really Cryptic employees. My bad.

I really want to say something about puckered lips coming in contact with protruding posteriors...,

But it's entirely feasible that this thread is just another attempt by a mythical creature that lives under a bridge, to disturb the balance of my euphoric and enthusiastic sentiments toward the current expansion commonly known as being the players favorite.

The name of which rhymes with Nausea Climbing.

This thread is about as subtle as those posts full of bad English and extraneous ellipses where the poster just attacks anyone who criticizes the game. Haven't seen many of those posts lately, company must be cutting back on expenses.

I know I've made reaching assumptions trying to nail down your job but do you think you could categorize it a bit?

Marketing - Product Development? Presumably with a C-Store focus?

I have ideas on what the product is but, really, that could extend to indirect monetization systems starting with the dilithium exchange but also extending into in-game purchases, skillpoint gains, specialization points, server uptime. Depending on how product is defined here, your fingers could be in a lot of pies.

    Or just the C-Store.

Would you go in and propose a ship? Or just focus on the store-level transaction? Would that include pricing?

As far as I know, your position is a brand new one at the Cryptic offices.

Unless you're at the PWE offices.

Adamanteus let us keep snowballs fun!

I think you are imagining things. Because Adamanteus comments in the thread, you have decided:

    1. The nerf isn't happening
    2. This person did that

Clearly, they are looking for a solution different than the one being discussed initally; but how you arrived at these particular conclusions is baffling.

I think the proper solution is, you know, have fun with goofy snow balls, lighten up, its the holidays!

    this ferengi has good advice.

i wish people would remember that this is a video game sometimes.

Virtual snowballs is hardly the issue. Players misbehaving is.

Those who take this course of action to harass others - and you know they are doing it - are creating more frustration on top of the frustrations already being experienced by fans in a number of ways in this game. Are they are trying to drive away players for playing because *they* don't like DR? You tell me. They don't need snowballs to do that - they are simply the troll weapons of choice atm. People acting like jerks in the name of holiday fun are still jerks regardless of any other motivations they may have.

I myself am just here trying to play with starships, not snowballs.

No, there were some serious grinches trying to take away the goofy snowball fun from the holiday event, and adamanteus stepped in and brought some good solid sense into the 'controversy.'

    Its not all nerf-nerf-nerf take-away-take-away!

    It's not ??

    .... dayyymmm ....

But seriously , even though throwing single snowballs is not my thing, it's nice to have that "decision" reversed ... , as it just sounded .... , yeah .

So, can we haz snowball PvP ? :D

Oh my God, this would be amazing. A winter-themed PVP map, with only Winter Event equipment enabled? Yes please!
