I notice a conspicuous lack of an Enterprise on the front lines of the Dominion War.
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
The Enterprise-E was likely performing combat operations. It's not as if the Enterprise is going to be explicitly mentioned all the time regarding any event it was involved in.

no, but it was the flagship of the Federation. I thought I saw a Sovereign battleship in the alliance first invasion of Cardassian space.
So? You seem to think this is incredibly important and noteworthy for some reason. There is no reason whatsoever for the Enterprise to have been specifically mentioned in any of the tiny number of war reports that get spoken of in DS9.

No, but it should have been part of the fleet retaking ds9 and at Chim'mera

No Sovereign in the Invasion of Cardassian Space was shown on screen. Not even in the novels, there was a Sovereign mentioned as taking part in the invasion. In the novels, the Enterprise liberated Betazed, defended Earth, and took part in various covert missions.

Now Hawk would murderize Hooker...
are you saying Sisko would beat Janeway?
Janeway didn't lose her ship below her feet.
