Knit Hats: Still having issues!

Still can't wear knit hat on my talaxian!

And to prove i am not just not finding it here are screen shots:

As you can see no option to get the hat, as seen here on my Trill:

    I'm having the same problem on my klingon alien. She does not get an option to wear the knitted hat.

    They haven't said they've fixed it yet, so I wouldn't expect it to be working yet. :P

    So far the Talaxians are the only race I've found on my 15 characters which don't have the option. Though some of the others have strange issues with them such as clipping/missing facial hair options etc.
    Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    I must have missed the post in which they indicated it wasn't working.

    It was meant as a joke about starting the thread "still can't" which implies there has been a fix which isn't working.

    Yeah this doesn't show up under any uniform option or head category on my KDF male Orion character either. If it does get fixed could we not restrict it to just off-duty uniform either.

    Same problem here.

    Not showing up for my female orion or male romulan characters. Haven't tried on my male human yet.

    I have them working on Orion Female and Male Romulan toons. Be sure you're looking in the right place, Off Duty -> Head -> Category.

    Yeah, I made sure I was in the right place. Checked and checked again. still nothing :(

    Yeah, not showing there for my character either; also I hope when they fix this issue they're not going to keep the hats restricted to the off duty slot either, since the blasted winter coats can be used with the normal uniform slot.

    it makes more sense to appear there and reduces confusion. it's already forced into that slot after head is set to hats, except it's grayed out.

    maybe it could keep hair data when there too, so upon removing it the character doesn't end up bald. it probably still wouldn't render the hair since each hairdo would likely need an unique model so it wouldn't clip through the hat, but at least keeping the info so on removal it'd revert to normal would be good.
    Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the cr​ap out of me.

    I'm pretty sure the reason it's not where the Reman hoods are is for the exact thing you just mentioned... hair. Remans don't have hair so the hood being in a separate category doesn't matter. But much like the Vedek hood (which is actually under the same category as the winter hats, that's the other option available in the greyed out box you mention), the head model needs to be changed so people can't use hair with it otherwise the hair would clip through the hat model.

    I would like to see this added to the standard duty uniform options though for one very simple reason... Trouser options in Off-Duty suck. My female toons tend to wear the T'pol trousers with the winter jackets for reasons I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain... I can wear a scarf with that combo but not the hat...

    I can wear it, but it removes my toons beard and eyepatch, so, can't wear it. :(

    Pretty much this, I'm already using the winter coat in my uniform slot, and it'd be incredibly annoying if I couldn't use the hat with them and the other decent options found there. That is when it gets fixed for my male KDF Orion character.
