The elachi event mission is entirely unplayable due to the crashing that is effecting me and numerous others. I get in, and everything starts well enough, but then it randomly crashes, telling me the .exe has stopped working. It's been making the game impossible to play for me, and has been making the two current special TIMED events impossible to participate in as well.
Is anyone else crashing during the elachi missions?
I had the same issues yesterday, I was playing the event, everything going great defending the second wave of Elachi when the whole game crashed and spent 40 minutes waiting for the launcher to force verify the game due to the crashing that I was not able to get in the game
It definitely seems like a memory leak. While playing today, i randomly crashed standing next to Q in ESD, so i restarted the game in windowed mode, with the task manager up next to it. While playing, the memory usage was slowly going up and fighting in the elachi event caused it to spike and crash. Since they major outage the other day, i've been getting the notice that the .exe has crashed almost every time, where before it wouldn't even give me that but once or twice. I'm not sure how much the memory usage is supposed to flux during the game, but when it suddenly spikes causing the game to crash, i think that might be an issue. Hopefully they get this sorted soon, because i was really looking forward to running the Elachi event.
It's not limited to the Elachi event. Numerous people, including myself, have been reporting this issue since the patch which came out on 4th December with Winter Wonderland.
The game is virtually unplayable because it just keeps fecking crashing. At current I seem to crash about once an hour, sooner if I switch maps frequently. Judging from the Windows event logger, it definitely appears to be a memory leak but CrypticFrost stopped replying to the threads started up about it so I'm not even sure if they're still trying to fix it or if they've just given up.

True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
The only response i've seen was a dev asking about the cards people were using. Considering how it looks to be spreading, or at least more people talking about it, you would think they would be working on it a little harder. I was really disappointed to see that it was still crashing on me after they fixed the last big memory leak from the extended down maintenance last week.
