Unable to buy Jem'Hadar Attack Ships - Claims a ship is not owned

Faction: Alien KDF
Area: Fleet Starbases and KDF Shipyard

Duration: Since August 2014, Possibly before

Bug: When I purchased my Jem'Hadar Attack Ship off the Exchange and unboxed it I rushed to the shiyard to purchase the new hangars for my Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier. There is a red line of text saying I do not own the 'Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier' so can not purchase the frigates.

With Delta rising I briefly did not own any Jem'hadar ships to even purchase fighters after upgrading to 5U. That was fixed a couple of days later. The attack ships remain unable t be purchased for a lack of the Dreadnought Carrier I fly.

Fixes Tried:
1) Reinstalling Star Trek Online. No Change.
2) Swap to non Jem ships to fly for two days. No change.
3) Fly the Jem escort for two days. No Change.
4) Swap ships around in the Shipyard.
5) Change / Reload my saved Dreadnaught carrier loadouts.


Its been months and I have heard no whispers of a fix on this issue. Please, some sort of a response would be appreciated. I spent every credit I had purchasing the ship only to have it be such a massive letdown and its turning into quite the poison pill for me. :mad:

    I cant tell from your post

    you must own the Carrier and attack ship on the same character to be able to purchase the jhas fighters

    For Fed it works, maybe it doesn't for KDF. :)

    It works for most KDF too.

    What I dont understand is why a CSR cant spend a few minutes fixing it Or at least trying to.

    Ive paid for the game I feel I deserve the company to give me some kind of help with this crippling bug.

    if you actually own the carrier, and the JHAS both, it is a bug and you need cryptic to address it.

    If it has been months, open a new ticket and explain it much more clearly. I had to read the whole thread twice to determine that you actually own both ships and that it is bugged. People solving issues don't want or need a wall of text.

    Try this:

    Hi, I have a problem. I own both the JH carrer and the JH attack ship but I cannot claim my carrier pets. Please fix this.

    Oh, also: check your drop down store from the mini-map. Some items are claimed there, and the carrier pets *may be* one of them (??).

    Ive opened four tickets so far. Possably five.

    The second said they could tell me they were aware of the bug and closed the ticket so Ive tried to be patient but as time drags on its getting more irritating - whats driven me to the forums.

    did you upgrade the bug ship to T5U? If you did that could be why... game may need you to own the plain jane vanilla one.

    I think your only hope is to find a support guy that asks for a screenshot with all the info, so far it's the only thing that seems to indicate they understand and want to see it for themselves.

    I had a similar issue purchasing carrier pets. It wasn't a T5/T5u problem, bit was that the fleet version of the ship wasn't recognized. I pulled together a screenshot with all the info, that stumped them.

    They weren't able to help, but luckily there was a semi-cheap solution. I purchased a mirror version of the carrier when a cheap one showed up on the exchange. With that in my ship list I was able to buy the pets. So I bought them and equipped them on the fleet ship and then dismissed the mirror ship.

    Unfortunately, I know, I don't see how that helps you. But, these things are real, you aren't going nuts. Perhaps someone here can help.
