The three strongest ships ingame: T6 Scimitar, T5U Scimitar, T5 Scimitar. Seems legit.
But yes, more ships for them would be nice. However you have the problem that kdf is a minority, while the Roms have the scimitar, so T6 Scimi would make sense as it would sell very good. Other ships might not.
just no... theres enough of these things flying around causing MCF traffic jams already
I reHeaaly do not think this ship needs to be a T6, sure it would sell well, but I know I laugh when I fly my Scim (most of the time), but have to turn my game up a notch or three when I'm not in it against one. It really is good enough as is.
But I do think more high end ships for both Rom and KDF would be fantastic.

And just to not completely neglect the KDF, KDF can have a new Gorn Sci Dreadnought that has a built-in Plasmonic Leech ability and a console that puts certain abilities into overdrive for its 30 second duration; such as Tachyon Beam becoming Hyper Tachyon Beam; which has an additional 15 seconds and drains more per second, or Gravity Well becoming a larger-than-normal singularity with incredible pull and greater damage, and also finishes off with a more massive singularity explosion.
Then Feds later get a super-sci ship with it's own wide-angle BFG and Overcharged Sci Abilities console.

I bought the T6 kdf ships but didn't play them past getting the trait.
No KDF carrier in 4 years.

I hope that we'll eventually get updates to all ships (you don't have to buy them all!). But I think the flag ships should be among the first. Hopefully they will do it like the Pathfinder and also provide a new skin. For 3-ship sets the Bortas and the Odysee both really have little going for them in terms of customization.
And I would really like a Tier 6 Nausicaan ship that looks more like the other Nausicaan ships other than the Siege Destroyer.
And a Tier 6 K'nor Escort.
And a Tier 6 Bird of Prey. Ideally based on the B'Rel model with a new skin and Enhanced Battle Cloak. (Because everyone got Battle Cloak nowadays.)

needs +1 TAC console, a SCI/INTEL hybrid seat, battlecruiser trait package, a bit more hull.
Battlecloak would be a little OP, but would be worth 30 bucks.

Lastly, the intro post said the plans were discovered in the delta quadrant after the way opened there via the jenolan sphere. Since that operation is a cross faction aliance, shouldn't the entire alliance have had access to the plans?

I'm guessing most of these ships are in Cryptic plans.
Would be great if they gave us some road map on ships so we have something to look forward to.

worst part is it wouldnt even be hard to buff up the KDF ship table, just add the Gorn NPC ships to the available non z-store roster for KDF. I wouldnt even really complain if they were all sci heavy. Rom ships would actually take someone some time to build new models and such but KDF has ready made assets sitting in game waiting for love

if i had to choose i would revisit the d'deridex design, because that has been spoiled badly at launch and i love it.

But seriously, if it's too much work to create all new ships, let's just see full T6 versions of the classics? Vor'cha, B'rel, D'deridex and Mogai?

I'll take it. Hell, I'll even take the D'd design lineage so long as the ship is small and has a secondary deflector slot. I can think of at least one interesting way to take the D'd's two-tiered wings and integrate a head and a secondary deflector pod into it that would look sweet.
Call it the Reconnaissance Warbird to match standing Sci/Tac ship nomenclature and you can expect my $30 on launch day, good sirs and mafams at Cryptic.
