Big Personal Tray Icons

Please, Please, PLEASE!!! Fix this bug - every time I switch screens all the icons I have removed from my Big Personal Tray are back again. Please turn off the "auto-populate" function that automatically puts bridge officer abilities into empty slots in the tray. Add a "Submit" button so that when I make changes to the tray I can press it and the system will save that information to a file on my computer. Then, write the code so that every time I change screens the system goes and looks at that file and makes sure my tray is "Exactly" like I configured it to be.

Man, after three and half years of playing this game I am so tired of this TRIBBLE. Please fix it!

    2nd that. Havent been playing as long as you but i agree completely that it's quite annoying.

    Agree! I have same problem. This thing annoys me too, i need all the time to fix this panel, to remove automatically added things. We need at least an option to switch this feature ON/OFF...

    Press the 'P' key. Set your tray icons as you wish.

    In the Powers window (accessed by pressing the 'P' Key) there is a box near the bottom labeled "Lock Tray". Tick the box. It will lock the abilities you have in the tray. This lasts until you change ships, which unfortunately resets it all and you have to go in, unlock the tray, readjust your abilities and relock it.

    But it reduces the amount of work.

    That doesn't work. I always lock my tray and still stuff shows up I don't want in there. And I haven't changed ships either.

    Just want to bump this with a "me too." Issue as I see it:

    I keep my powers tray free of any and all BOFF abilities. I keep the BOFFs on the side so they have their own little space. I use a 3-tier powers tray with blank spaces so that I can group different types of spells by similarity.

    My powers tray randomly gains BOFF abilities whenever I change maps. I immediately remove them and toggle "lock tray" off and then on again. If I enter a map or leave a map, the BOFF abilities are back!

    I am not changing ships. I am not going and deleting ships. I am not tinkering with BOFF positioning (though I tried that and it didn't help any.)

    All I am doing is going going off to kill the Crystaline entity or blow up a few Borg then returning to Tau Dewa. Rinse, repeat, tray issue persists.

    I have STO installed on two different systems (one is an Alienware with a real graphics card running at 1920x1200, the other is a Lenovo with Intel's craptastic on-die graphics running at 1366x768.)

    Interesting tidbit: I had this trouble a month or so ago. A patch came out and it went away; life was good. Now it's back and life is a little less good.

    Here's hoping that helps Cryptic's bugfixers solve this.

    Boy how I 100% agree with this request to fix this blank blank blank blank BUG!!!!! in the personal Tray I get so tired of trying to reload what I want in that tray is not funny and I find the most bothersome of all is when I come back from Away missions and I am to go into combat I look at my tray and everything is changed back to the way it was before I changed to it to fit me so PLEASE FIX THIS BANKED BUG!!!!!!http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

    I only get it when i beam to star base for mail or ship interior for bank please fix this 5 year old problem!
