    Hey guys,

Can you please post screenshots or more details of what you're seeing?

I'm having difficulty tracking down why these two missions are breaking, as we are only seeing this happen on Tribble and not internally. They are set up similarly to previous open missions, which are not being affected by this issue. The hope was that the fix put in on Tuesday's push would kickstart the mission if it failed.

The fact that it is now constantly resetting is fantastic, as it gives us another clue as to what is going wrong. I'll continue to look into this, and we will see if we can finally track down this rather elusive (and annoying) bug. If you see it, please post screenshots or further details of when you saw it reset. The current details that you all posted were fantastic, so please keep them coming.

    Short video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoTRMuSr4wQ

don't know how helpful this is, but as you can see it reset somewhat random, it seems to me as those 2 mobs coming down the hill have something to do with it.

For me it never even changed yellow or red.

    Hi everyone,

Thank you for all the great screenshots and videos. I've found the problem and have put in a fix for it internally.

For those who are curious, the problem was that the second base open mission, when it completed, told the first open mission to end. Since the second mission was not cleaning itself up, it would start again, see everything was finished, and go straight to the end phase... and end the first open mission. This created a vicious loop where the first open mission would start and then stop as long as other people were trying to complete the second open mission.

Thanks again for all of your great help guys, I will post here (in addition to adding patch notes) when our fix for this is in.

As soon as the final monster in the last stand mission (the tank monster that spawns near the Vaadwaur ship) is defeated, literally the first time after tribble comes up, the mission fails to complete in log, all the Vaadwaur around the chemical stacks you have to plant bombs on depop, the mission requeues on your screen (the progress bar for last stand) and then disappears.

A few seconds go by, the Vaadwaur at the console reappear, begin fighting for 5-10s, then depop regardless of their health. Thus begins the endless loop. Prior to yesterday, sitting there for a long period of time compounded the exp recieved from 384 (starting) to nearly 4k every 20-30s. Thanks for helping me test your spec tree on day one, please see other thread for lots of stuff thats broken :P. Now its just a constant 1800~ exp per reset.

Easy way to see this happen:

    1. Accept the mission "With Our Last Breath"
(also you can share this mission with people lv 53, prolly another oops)
    2. Run to Vaadwaur ship on top of Kobali ground
    3. Shoot a couple of the mobs around the chemical area to build to Tier IV credit (just once)
    4. Rally boffs infront of you (gotta be safe)
    5. Turn on a movie

This ^^....at least it gives free XP/DIL/Marks

If you had the mission flagged, as soon as tribble came back up you had 1 chance to progress the mission to the end boss (the tank). Once this one cycle was completed, the glitch began. I logged into tribble within 2-3 mins of it going back up two times in a row to watch the first time (the crazy exp version) and this last time (yesterday). Same result both times, as soon as the boss dies, the loop begins.

However this was a level 59 mission, but was shareable with anyone > lv 53. When shared it gave them the same "completion level" you had and allowed them to access the exp/dil/marks bug at level 53. It took approx. 90 minutes to afk 53-60 on the first version of this glitch (the new one is significantly less exp, and is apparently fixed now?).

Honestly it was quite good to have this glitch exist. When the servers came back up I was 4-5 skill points shy of completing both spec trees, which barely work...so hopefully someone (lookin at you borticus!) can go read the captain spec tree feedback thread and get the skills that dont work to actually work. As it stands right now only the skills that add an entirely new visual feature actually work space wise

    Hi everyone,

We have a fix for the final two base open mission's not properly completed. However, there is a known issue that the second base open mission will not give you credit in your personal mission. This has been fixed internally and will be rolled out in a future build on Tribble.

Can confirm that "at the gates" works now", there is a minor bug, the last capture zone nearly the end of the mission vanishes/is invisible as long as you are not in it.

Means the blue zone is visible, but the yellow/red zone is not.

For the last mission, it says to disable the command stations, but there aren't any to disable, meaning no intractable or destroyable objects.

The mission is now stuck on Signal Noise due to the fact that the 4 consoles will not pop as selectable objects. No more exp/dil/marks loop, but still unable to progress the mission. Signal noise is actually 2-3 missions before the one that was previously looping exp/dil/marks.

I can vouch for this. There was never any interact for any console.

WAY too HARD with just 2 Boffs.

There is hard, there is challenging, and there is DIEING SO MANY TIMES that it is NO FUN.

And why is the 'request reinforcements' button grayed out????

People should have the option of playing the Kobali episodes and missions with 4 Boffs instead of 2 - not all of us enjoy multiple and repeated death grinds.

Some of us don't like ground that much and just want to get it done - in a challenging and fun way, but not an uber-hard multi-death way.

PLEASE fix this before live release day

i have to disagree with you. i find the amount of challenge of the battlezone to be perfect, i rarely ever die at all. might be your equipment or something? traits and skill points? i balanced my traits and skillpoints between ground and space, and my gear and boffs gear is the new stuff from the Drozana test console

    Confirmed.

About the challange of the mission.
With 2 or 3 players it is like running mad in a chickenbarn with 2 axes...
Allone the Voodwore respawn faster then you can do anything and you will be overrun.

I had another minor problem with another mission. The mission where the Voodwore use the gas for killing the Kobali.
I finished fighting back the counter attack. Then i wanted to use the console but right after i finished the counterattack all enemys in the base respawned. I think i don't have to say that surviving that is much harder then just holding of the counter attack.
There should be a delay of maybe 2 minutes after the counterattack ended.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing for The Last Stand. I get the progress bar that says disable command posts but no matter how many enemies I kill it doesn't move. I don't see any consoles or such glowing for an interaction.

I do agree. The only thing I see are placeholders at two consoles. First, when I left the last hidden base before the marked spot, on the right side there are a few red arrows (placeholder possible) at the console right in the middle. A few steps ahead there is another console with even another placeholder - some kind of white transparent cube.

Thank you for finally fixing "At the Gates"

The Final Mission cannot be replayed. And right now, that ******n ending makes me want to replay it over and over just to see that cutscene again. No spoilers, but... nicely done, Cryptic. I don't even want to think about what the negotiations with CBS had to look like.

I disagree about the difficulty of the zone, there are a few points where baddies spawn way too quickly and to close together, but they're easily avoidable. Keep in mind, they're over level 50 so you need your best, and I found a intel officer surprisingly helpful there.

My only issue is my character seems to periodicaly get interested in something and insist I go that direction, and won't easily let me move in the direction I want to go in.

Just finished the mission at the hidden base and got the Kobali Warfare Specialist doff. I have to ask, did anybody say the name of this doff out loud? J'Netall.

All I have to say is "high five to the perverted TRIBBLE who came up with that one." It took me about 15-20 seconds of saying it out loud before I realized what you saw in it. :P

Still, best not to leave in this "amusing placeholder." There are quite a few ways that you can read/say it appropriately (which also seem to be the obvious ones) but a missed stressed here and a bad emphasis there does make it rather unfortunate for Star Trek (Red Dwarf on the other hand....)

I pretty much automatically do this when I run into a new name without hearing it, either in a game or in text. It was a trick I learned years ago to avoid unfortunate names in a fantasy or scifi setting, and it has a way of ruining books for me.

Rather an ironic name for a Kobali though, if you think about it.

I am bugged I hit at the gates and nothing spawned. I wandered around for a while. had some random pop ups saynig I failed or completed missions I wasnt doing, and then upon returning to the gates it said 2/3.

That number vanished while I was typing, and its back to "repell them at the gates" with nothing further. Im between bored to death and confused to irritation. I dont know what I should be doing, where, or whats going on.

Additional: after hanging out here for a few minutes the Recover wounded soldiers reappeared and its now 0/3 instead of 2/3.

Almost as bad as the DND dark sun adventure "the asticlean gambit".

Trying to find the last transporter, cannot be found

UPDATE--By changing instances, did it make possible to finish the mission. But it shouldn't be that way.
    geekguy79 wrote: »
Well I finally got past enemy at the gates, jus changed instances to one with only 3 people in it, and that worked for me.

Now, I'm stuck on the very last, I think, mission, The Last Stand, clear the enemy base and destroy the chemical stockpile, or something. I go to the area, some kind of progress bar flashes on the screen for just a second, then vanishes, and nothing happens. It flashes again a minute later, and nothing happens. Have tried changing instances, beaming out to space and back in, nuthin, won't work at all for me.

This place really needs to reward Ancient Power Cells. It should be on par with the Voth and Undine Battl Zones in this regard.
