Benthan Assault Cruiser 55k DPS, Reduce All Creation to Ash, RYUJIN JAKKA

RYUJIN JAKKA

Still a work in progress as there are a few things that still need upgrading.

I am getting a consistent average of around 50k DPS with the highest(so far) parse being 55.6k DPS. This is in Left->Right ISA runs without any Recluses.

Did a couple pug runs in it and got 42k and 46k DPS.

Ship nickname: The Battle Kiwi

Video: Benthan Assault Cruiser in Blockade Runner patrol, Zahl system, Elite Difficulty. Most player still find this patrol too difficult to complete.

    Awesome man! I've been wanting to try this out myself, and with the price pretty cheap right now.

    Good to see a build out for it.

    That ship isnt worth that name... Ryumon Hozukimaru might be ok, but for the strongest bankai seen yet its definitly to weak.

    That's the Shikai, not the Bankai.

    The ship is Top Dog among the Cruisers and Battlecruisers, only the FDCs and Dreads might give it a run for it's money.

    Well, even then Ryujin Jakka would easily incinerate Ryumon Hozukimaru. Its stronger than most bankais, and the benthan isnt in this league ;)

    Would replacing Emitter Synergy with Reciprocity help or hinder the effectiveness of this buiild?

    Ryuujin Jakka is not a Bankai. That's just the name of Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto zanpacto. It's Bankai is called Zanka no Tachi.

    And i have to disagree with you. The BAC outperforms all cruisers and battlecruisers out there.

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    So on the topic of shields and deflector, the only threads I can find on the topic seem to have concluded that counter command + fleet shield is slightly better, but I've had my doubts about that from what I see in-game, and here you are with the nukara 2 piece. Any comments on this?

    the two best combos would be:
    CCD + RomEng + Dyson SHield
    Nuka Def + RomEng + Nuka Shield.

    with the latter having a slight edge on the former by a small margin.

    Which is great for casual player because Nukara and Rom sets do not require a component like BNPs to make.

    Get them before they change!

    If you're thinking of one of the threads where two people ran separate tests on SB234, I'm one of them.

    I was told that the CC deflector's accuracy bonus has depreciated due to the accuracy bonuses from Specialization.

    I haven't verified it myself, and frankly the potential performance difference isn't enough for me to shelve my Fed Eng's Mk XIV Fleet shield and Mk XIV CC Deflector due to sunk costs. My new Rom Eng that lacks Fleet Credits will be going Nuka/Rom/Nuka though.

    My personal recommendation is to go for whatever is easier to attain. (Though if you have no attack patterns, not even APA, then you'd probably want CC/Nuka/Nuka.)

    I know spelling isn't at the forefront of priorities in the Marine Corps, but that's a pretty big one to remember/know.

    For the topic of def+engine, you also have to consider their defense qualities. It doesnt do you good if you die, because then also your dps is done for. While I can and do fly with 2pc nukara and rom engines even in pugs, its much easier (on a defensive aspect) with rom engine, CC-Deflector and fleet shields. The difference of both choices for dps isnt big for normal runs, the difference in defensive strength however is. So choose wisely, or better get both, so you can test it out for yourself.

    In the end this is one of the gear-questions that heavily depend on the player.

    Also, that CC T4 trait that gives %5 shield DR, stacks up to 5 times. Basically turns any shield into an elite shield. Except for the glowing bubble when it activates. lol
    But, if your still taking too much damage with whatever shield your using and have T4 Undine rep. That makes a huge difference.
    I don't know why but my Rom in the benthan is always fearing death. Almost same build as my Tac. little more CritD, but almost same gear.
    Stat wise ship to ship, everything, but damn if I can't hardly keep that benthan from exploding in most pugs. Until i turned that trait on, and huge difference.

    So it's an option.

    This thread and the Wizards of STO videos present the same problem which makes me sad: They both show that you'll only reduce all creation to ash if you're a Tac captain.

    Actually all careers can pull it off.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
