Old and very Old Veterans

I read a lot about club 47, and dj's and feel so much exiting from all.
But, i think something is missing.
Where i can hear a Mozart concert? I dont ask a teather (is not a bad idea).
I want a place where i can heard Tchaicowsky or Berliotz, fly with Vilvandi.

I'll give you my list of tops:

    Where's Pachelbel? I love Canon in D.

    Maybe they could add a second floor upscale bar and lounge with a serene overview of Earth. Though it would be fun to see a performance hall with Orchestral NPCs.

    In case you were not aware, music requires rights and royalties to use. In the case of Bach, while JS is dead and they do not need to pay the composer, they would still need to pay the musicians who played the music used in the game. Bottom line is that it is not cheap.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Believe it gets more into there being an area that suggests something classical, perhaps something jazzy, etc, etc, etc...is being played, rather than it being a discotheque atmosphere. It would be up to the individuals to play what they wanted, but the scenery would be set for something of a bit different of a tempo...

    After all the forum heat Taco got from some on the forum for making the new Club 47 you want him to make another music area? :)

    That's not the reques, but i like to think in a place where we can hear classical music. Maybe the Academy is a better place for that. I dont know, one or 2 concerts by week.

    Our beloved Data was a violin player, Picard play the flaute, Riker the trumpet, Beverly Crusher have her own actors guild.

    Movies like ST Insurection starts with a violin concert...

    I think we lose that spirit..., and its important remember all as possible.

    Until then, you could get either winamp or iTunes, as STO can plug into those and play music on your hard drive, and it actually cancels out the in game music. However... it could interfere with some cutscene dialog.

    I would also like to see Vic's at DS9. Now... where to put Riker's Jazz Bar? K7?

    Yes! I would be a regular at Vic's place! :)

    They need to make Vic's bar on DS9.

    I think the op may have found a use for the Captain's Table. Make a section for the classical, jazz, etc. genres all connected together by the Enigma.

    I like this idea very much, but i think we must share the culture with all..., not only with LTS.

    I really didn't see the point of club 47, there is never anything to do there and the same tune repeating over and over and over just drives you crazy.
    mind you if they had a daily dance compo like on risa with 2k dil reward it would be good.

    besides which I don't think earth space dock is a fitting local for a disco, it would be better if it was set up in an alternative space station, also it should be in neutral territory so kdf players could make use of it.
    or put it as a a choice of destination on the entrance as the captains table but open to all players so feds and kdf can access it that way.


    it might help if it could be set up to just play random audio tracks from your own hard drive.
    I know there was a way you could do this in the settings but I don't want to replace the audio for all the game just what you hear in club 47.

    I might pop in on Friday when they do the livestream just to see what its like. :)

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    I agree that Club 47 is useless. It was supposed to be a social zone but next to no one goes there to meet players. But it seems to me they could do something similar on Risa (the old Risa) and it would probably work better. There's no bonus for resting there, so why bother?
    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.
