Upgrading Experimental Romulan Plasma Beam appears bugged

Before the upgrade, the Experimental Romulan Plasma Beam Array has 287.5 (230 DPS) and +6% chance to crit. After the upgrade, it is estimates to have 280 (224 DPS) and no additional chance to crit.

Just want to through it out there, as either there is a display bug, or upgrading really downgrades the item, and that should be fixed...

    I can upgrade from Mk XIII to XIV but the attributes are exactly the same. There is no increase in anything. Why is it possible to upgrade this weapon but receive no benefits? Or is this a display bug? Please fix this.

    I'm having the same results, I tried to report it to 2 times no response suport
