101k was just beaten by 107k

We will be seeing 150k DPS soon enough - the DPS folks are limited on Dil for upgrades just like the rest of us, once the sort all Epic Mk XIV and a little powercreep we will see 150k.

This run will be over soon. The current iteration of ISA is being nerfed, but as soon as ISE is released that will be the preferred testing ground.

You made me really laugh. :D thanks!

Most of you guys were really noobs in PvP. Ryan wasn't that bad in his scort.
I don't see any of the other guys who were really good. Popping all fast without knowing what they do half of the time. And running pure Feedback builds waiting for peeps who shoot at you isn't pvp. :P

But who cares now. It's about pve here - but youre Statement simply was too funny.
Theres no PvP left. Congrats on that cryptic btw.

Glad you found it funny as we laugh at you guys constantly--especially how badly we own you. All we got from you was rage warping, etc. But when we did express interest, we normally dominated the pvp boards. But alas, we got bored with all the PvP qq'ing and moved on.

    Cheers

I'm more interested in the Recluse builds used. Anyone got a link to those?

Wow. A perfect example of why the game is so dps oriented. Sure, there's no need to nerf anything. The hell there isn't. Cryptic needs to stop being afraid of player backlash and just do it already. Stop trying to balance something that can't be balanced. I'd go so far as to say its time for ship hard points and dedicated energy types. There may be too much freedom of choice here.

why not do elite if thats how much weight you are throwing around?
doesnt look like you are doing it for the queue's resource rewards.

Please post a video of someone playing Elite. If you can do that, you're my hero, or whatever. Because it doesn't exist. Stated in this thread already. ;)

Can you please provide some stats on how much it cost your fleet to do this kind of damage?

Its a sad state of affairs, but I really do think Crptic looks at these videos and thinks 'NERF'.

Ignoring the fact that most 'normal' players could not achieve what you have done.

I think they are smart enough to recognize a glass cannon when they see one lol

No, they can't. Because we're stuck with advanced as elite doesn't exist yet. There are no elite queues for almost all of the runs.

Basic fact checking isn't your forte is it? If it was, you would know there is no ISE yet. Typical anti-DPSer post, no facts just lots of rage.

you are calling me, whos standard advise to anyone is, "dont get any ship with less than 3 tac consoles", anti dpser. id call it funny if it wasnt just wrong.
the only thing i am 'anti' about dps, is stupid content destroying powercreep, and mishandled player power gaps, since both of those kill games outright.

last information i had been given was that the elite borg missions went up with dr, but only unlocked at level 60. it wasnt mentioned in the thread as incorrect until onerats post.

so, vitriol from you and sinn74 and kudos to onerats for actually answering the damn question.

Why don't you actually look at what was posted, not what you think was posted.

they went into that mission with a premade, not a pug where they need to wait & hope for a competent team.
they clearly wheren't after the mission rewards, they could easily have taken their premade to the elite version with just as much wait time.

    dont be so deceitful.

What am I being deceitful about? That there isn't an ISE?

"why don't you do this on Elite?"

    "There isn't an Elite."

    "Don't be so deceitful."

    Huh?

Elite Mesh Weavers x2 on both, probably two copies of APBx each too.

That's all that really matters, tbh.

Any chance someone can post the name of the parser being used? The ones I have only work after the battle, I don't have a real time one.

The people complaining about how the way they want to do things does not jive with the mechanics at work in the game are akin to someone in a Honda Accord wanting to race in a NASCAR race, but they refuse to get a new car or upgrade the one they have or outfit it with the appropriate equipment.

If you want to have a crappy ship with crappy, mismatched, ineffective gear, then the Normal queues are just the place for you. They didn't really get any harder, so you'll eventually complete them.

If you want to take on Advanced or Elite, guess what? That will actually require you to put some thought and effort into what weapons and equipment work best. You want to use what you have because that's what you want. There's no logic or reason behind it, you just want to whine and complain that the game is too hard and why should you actually have to think to play.

I've done lots of PUG's and right now, it's nearly impossible to complete one on Advanced. Why? Because most of the people are selfish, have no concept of teamwork, no strategy, and frankly, terrible builds. No one has ever suggested that people need to do the kind of DPS shown in the video originally posted. But here's the thing: If you're not doing 10K DPS, you're not trying. You're just not. Anyone who is doing below that, and especially anyone doing sub-5K, is really not trying. In fact, you're pretty much trying to see how bad you can be and still win, whether you realize it or not. PvE queues are not just for a single person. They are a team effort. You may be playing one queue or the other for the particular rewards, but if you're not trying to work with your team and actually outfit your ship in a way that will help, you're not trying to win. You're basically banking on the rest of your team doing the bulk of the work. And that's a crappy thing to do.
