Exploit: Energy credit generator

I've just discovered an exploit. It'll make you about 9.5K EC every few seconds, with no cost apart from time. While I really do need massive amounts of EC, exploiting my way to a shiny isn't my way.

So how do I flag this up? I mean obviously sticking the details up here isn't the best idea.

How about posting an in-game ticket?

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

What he said :p ^ but don't expect it to be fixed too soon. Devs shave a lot of bigger bugs to box.

The bug reporting system doesn't work - at least my 8 tickets dating all the way back to 2009 seem to disagree that is.

The quickest way to get an exploit fixed is to post it. When the metrics show something is askew it gets fixed immediately. Look how long it took them to 'fix' the RMC awards from the livestream a couple of weeks ago.

Ugh.. if one were to do such a thing, obviously use a throw away account from some shady internet cafe... This thread in itself is a TOS violation because it has the magic word in it.

That tactic is true. I'm not sure I would risk getting banned for it. Doesn't seem logical. If Cryptic knows about the bug and don't fix it for 2 years, they can't get mad at the exploiters. Just auto-bot it ( if possible ) and leave the game on overnight. If people get banned I'll LOL at them. Hey it's their account.

I have no current data on the bug you guys are talking about. Seriously, the only EC generator I use is 'N'vak Zone.' That one is legal. I love my account too darn much. I wont resort to cheating.
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

I wonder how many people would be interested to know how to have their dilithium bound to account instead of bound to character. I used to think it was common knowledge until I heard if being explained to dozens of people in my fleet.

Do you mean claims? Dil can be moved about.

Farktoid5000 I really did misread your name at first and thought "He got away with that as a yellow name?".

As far as I know the RMC still isn't fixed :D. The problem was that they said that the RMC was an accountwide unlock, instead you could only claim it once.

There was a grinding thing in Tau Dewa that they fixed, after instructions got posted and then labeled an exploit.

Whoa whoa whoa. Easy there. I can tell you don't even play STO. killing unlimited cubes and hulks is not an exploit. It an agreement between 2 factions. This can be done in Ker'rat and N'vak. Simple game mechanics.

In a player filled warzone equals about 25 cubes, 30 probes 26 spheres and 5 tactical cubes spawning almost endlessly. Simply just kill the Borg for loot and not each other. Recycle loot for endless EC. Exploit? Nope, just common sense.

Here's the proof http://webgel.net/bf/WarZoneB.jpg There's about 18 cubes displayed. It was twice as much when I first entered the zone. Took about an hour to stop the borg. More people = more borg. My team only won when people left the zone. My average EC rate was 2.5 million EC an hour (Down from 5.9 million because of loot nerf 5 months ago).

Yeah it's legal... or just stop NPC's from respawning in any zone and kill the game. Knowledge is power.

I used to play karrat months ago then tried to go back to get dilithium and i think they changed it. As i recall that purple fish head guy (cmdr mazada?) from K-7 who had that daily mission didn't have it anymore and you couldnt select it from the list nor fly up to karrat and enter the war zone.

Now theres something similar but different briefed from either Icheb or Drake and it didnt have dilithium awarded.
I wasnt aware of the klingon equivalent until now.
