Delta Rising :: Skrill or Paypal only, NO Credit Cards

I figured that I would post this after having a chat with Cryptic Support.

Apparently no, there is no way to purchase the Delta Pack using a credit card. :mad: And that's not a bug.

And they don't know if they will ever allow it to be purchased that way. :(

So for those of us who don't have Skrill and have had issues with Paypal, the only thing we can do is wait.

I'm not happy, :(, but at least support responded in a timely manner and gave me a straight answer.

    I have a similar issue. I will purchase the pack if only I can use my credit card just like with the C-Store. Even though Skrill will allow this, I have to provide my cellphone number for SMS credit card verification. The problem here is that my cellphone is assigned to me from my employer and I am not allow to use it for instances like this.

    I've made many purchases in the past with Skrill and didn't have to do this, the cellphone SMS card verification is something new. Secondly, I'm uncomfortable providing my cellphone number for texts like that. Who knows if Skrill Moneybookers won't sell my number to other businesses to solicit me. Anyway, I've also made many purchases through PWE C-Store for Zen and other nice additions with no problems, so please add the Operations Pack there also with the same pricing. Make it more accessible and available and you'll be more profitable.

    Based on the last pack they sold (Neverwinter's Dragonborn pack about a month ago), it showed up in the Zen Store AND on Steam the very day the whole thing launched.

    Also they had the gall to 'remove' the sale features (so the 'sale' went away, and the price stayed completely the same), so it didn't cost anything extra to wait.

    That said, only Cryptic knows what they'll do with STO.

    I hope at some point soon TPTB re-evaluates and enables credit card payment. For me, it's the only way I am able to invest in the game, and I want to invest in the game. I've been waiting to buy the Delta pack for a while.
