i was doing my collecting of daily doff missions and it came in rather low. so after clearing them all i pick a couple of fast ones and took a
screen shot. then in 30 min when they were completed compared the two.
Results are an across the board reduction in skill points earned vrs what is stated on the mission when you accept it. i only bothered
posting one example but can post more if naysayers show up .

ok so maybe its a bug and they are not just telling us more tall tales. who knows but if they acknowledged it yesterday just how long are we supposed to play with "unintended " skill point reductions?
im sure if it was bugged in our favor they would be moving on this allot faster maybe even taking doffing offline until its fixed and they can determine how much they can take away from people LOL.
and im trying hard not to become bitter about all of this stuff, as said before my feds are dead and gone now. my kdf lineup is jsut an alt force now for gathering dil like this mirror event . and i can only afford to play one toon . and by afford i mean time and money. so by lowering skill points they are increasing the time needed to achieve the same results from a only few short weeks ago. and they are not going to get more money simply because i already bought the only two ships they wanted to sell to me.

63% reduction, about in line with the losses the OP posted. This sucks.
lol your nuts i have a little over 23 million of unspent expertise its useless where i am in the game now . and pretty much same with the ec whats 225 ec? not even worth looking at . cant even place max bet on dabo with that. so you must have been joking.

perhaps some of the results may fluctuate depending on the randomness of the game per chance.
or perhaps it is only because you are only just now looking for these things but they have been there all along.
but when you think that you never even did anything to get these marks does it really matter that much either way.

Sorry but with all the recent stuff that happened I believe its intentional, the only "Bug" is that still the old values are displayed instead of the new ones.
Watch as the bugfix will be an actualization of the doff screen and everything else is working as intended.
no flames here, it just doesn't bother me that much if the results differ slightly, most of these things are done when im sleeping or at least afk anyway so its no biggie.

Someone else noticed it Wednesday night.

I don't believe so in this particular case, because we had a dev. come in and precisely state that what's going on is unintended and that they weren't messing with the XP gains in yesterday's patch. If it was what you assume it was, they'd just remain silent on the issue like with other issues.
I do hope this is true. If it is, that just means that it is possibly the most inopportunely timed bug in the history of everything! XD
Regardless, i fully expect to wait until at least next week for it to be fixed. *sadface*

I'll be perfeclty honest and admit that in my lenghty time of playing STO, I've never really paid attention to those Doff gains, aside from ones that grant sweet amounts of dilithium.

It's sad when THAT is the more believable explanation and that everybody is so burnt out they can't even get upset anymore.
I can also say that they nerfed Expertise from the Academy Lore missions at the very least. Before the patch yesterday each mission used to give 1181 Expertise. Now today they only award 866 Expertise. Considering I run these things EVERY day, I got used to seeing a certain amount of Expertise. And now the day after a patch, that amount has taken a hit.
Oh sure, Expertise isn't as important as Experience, but a nerf is a nerf. If they cut one, they could easily have cut the other.

In a way I can agree with that... but how would I personally introduce a slowing of XP?
if all that was the goal all they had to do was expand the amount of skill points needed for the next lvl up and continue growth from 50 to 110. then nothing else would have been messed up in the game at all. for anybody. just with each new lvl the amount needed for the next lvl would be more. that just seems like the best way to do it to me.
