There's some guy on ESD that started when we walked in at level 33. He moved over to DS9 and is now level 48...

in less than 1 hour...

    oh never mind, i asked around and apparently it's someone from PWE skipping storyline to level up a toon on the holodeck.

    Sounds legit, not like you can tell who is a PWE/Cryptic employee from their name anyway...:rolleyes:

    with boosts etc this is doable (well was pre XP nerf not lvled a toon from 1 - 50 in ages)

    well, naming and shaming isn't a good idea, especially if it's of people with the power to ban you. so...


    use your imagination. you'd probably figure it out.

    beside the person didn't do a mission.

    must be nice... but sharpen the skills, this does not.

    People from PWE/cryptic are not authorized to use "cheat" command on their private (anonymous) character. IE, Smirk can use the cheats on Smirk (if this is the character name he use in livestream and all), which is the public character, have a special color in chat, and a <dev> tag. However, he can't use it on his personal and private character, the one nobody knows it's him.
    Same for Taco, Kestrel and a lot others. You can see they are devs because they write in a different color than anyone else, and have a <dev> tag with their name.

    It is very serious. Someone was fired from CCP (Eve online), because he gave some "free" stuff for his alliance. And that was not big. I think the only thing they have for free is a LTS, everything else, they have to earn it the same way we do.

    If you didn't see any of it, it was not a dev, and someone that found an excuse to avoid the conversation.

    How's that working out for you? I'm not sure that I want to go for yet another alt but that Scavenger trait looks interesting.

    Haven't gotten to test it out yet, but that trait does look really good, so I am going to make one on my personal account as soon as I buy another character slot.

    Alt number 30 here I come!

    Also the trait seems to be bugged in the same way the boff talaxians trait is bugged neither seem to work.

    Oh, I'm pretty sure PWE personnel can do whatever they want there. Their servers, their rules. :)

    I'd prefer a torpedo just filled with Talaxians, only good use for them, to bug enemy captains

    Eating a few skill boosts and finding a few Borg Red Alerts will easily get you from 33 to 48 in an hour. Sadly that amount of XP probably wouldn't even be worth one spec point at 60.

    You can do a load of patrols, doff assignments, etc and not hand them in, then cash them all in together and hence level super fast like this... or be a dev and just do it anyway, lol

    Now see, if you didn't have this ability and you had to level your toon the hard way like the rest of us then maybe you'd see why we think the 'great XP nerf' is such a bad thing. Wish I was a dev and could just hit the "give me all the XP" button. Exploit indeed. :P

    They are Lifetime Subscription reward unlocks, so in theory, never as they are supposedly exclusive.

    shouldnt need boosts with tools enabled right? just put in a level on the toolbar and press apply, voila level 10 to level 60 in no time :P
