Missing new forum title?

bberge1701bberge1701 Member Posts: 726 Bug Hunter
I bought the Delta Rising Operations Pack over the weekend. When I logged in last night, I was able to claim all of the in-game items with no issues.

The one thing I seem to be missing is the corresponding titles for the forums here. Is there something I need to do to claim those?

The other thing that seems a bit odd to me (and may be related) is that I don't see the Delta Rising Operations Pack as an "activated feature" on my account on the Cryptic website. I see the Legacy of Romulus Starter Pack I bought.

Is there some code I'm supposed to redeem? The only code I see on my receipt is a transaction ID.

According to the Game Pack info and the corresponding FAQ, the titles "Voyager", "Delta Quadrant Explorer", and "Delta Quadrant Ambassador" can be used both in game and in the forums. It's near the bottom of both posts.

I guess on the grande scheme of things it is a small detail, but in my mind, when you pay for something, you do expect to get what you paid for, as per the the Q&A -

Q: Are the exclusive Titles available for use on the Forums?
A: Yes! Log into the STO website and click on the "Edit your Avatar" link. Scroll down below the default selection of avatars to see the available titles. Choose the radio button next to the one you'd like to display and click 'Submit Title' to confirm.

    This is not working!!

I was wondering this as well. I bought two delta packs and cannot access the unique titles in the forums on either account.

I'd have to say that it falls under false advertising to list something with the intention of not providing it.

Even PayPal has rules against false advertising and one can use this false "Forum Titles" item as cause for disputing the charges. In fact, they could face not only State AGO action for each state that a customer resides in for false product advertising, they can also, and more likely than not, be hit with a crippling - game over man - class action lawsuit by greedy trial lawyers.

YOU DON'T LIST SOMETHING AS A BENEFIT OF SALE if you have no intention of providing that product. That is straight up fraud.

But in this instance, who really knows. Perhaps it will be a future perk.
What happened to those unique forum ranks I paid for?
