As a pre order player who has been in game since launch, purchased the lifetime subscription, pre-purchased the mega pack of Legacy of Romulus, spent a huge amount on zen and plan on purchasing delta rising pack i am extremely annoyed at the fact that a friend of mine who hasn't played the game in a while and has no real intention of returning gets an email with a redemption code for 3 lockbox keys, a ship upgrade token and xp boost and i (as well as most others no doubt) get nothing... where is the love for those who play the game and show loyalty by continuing to purchase zen and other store items?
this is a clear sign of disloyalty to those who are loyal and pay to keep the game running.

I received one of these about a year and a half ago. I sent an email to customer service about it, just to make sure it was not a scam of some type. (I am NOT a trusting person)
The response I got back, stated it was a 'gift' to players. The email also stated that the recipient was picked at random from the player data base. It has nothing to do with silver, gold or LTS status, or by how much money you spend. It's all a matter of 'The luck of the draw".

Luck of the draw would be fine however my friend who got the email and code hasn't logged into STO for 6 months as he was shocked at having 3k zen till i told him as a lifer (like myself) he gets 500 a month no matter if he logs in or not. however this "luck of the draw" is exactly what i mean about disloyalty to those who continue to play the game and pay money into it.
@tucana66 : 1. We're both in UK. 2. 22nd October 2014 at i think he said 22:27 on time stamp. 3. Originator was PWE.
as for authenticity he logged into STO and had about 10GB to patch due to not being on for months, code was valid and accepted when he entered it into arc and it gave him the said items in first post.

Loyalty doesn't factor in for PWE. It doesn't matter how much money you spend. All they want is more money, not your loyalty.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

2.) Date of the email
3.) Originator of the email
Sorry, but more specifics would go a long way to validate your statements above.
