I'd give it a solid B, as I don't need to exploit the system in order to level up my toons like some players here. I've found the DR experience generally positive, and since I already had hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dil saved up for this, upgrading my equipment wasn't an issue.

while the story was good, I did find myself questioning it from time to time, or scratching my head, but that may be the nature of Star Trek.
The episodes, with every other mission being MORE PATROLZ felt like lame filler content for me to grind my face on until I got to the next legitimate story arc.
Overall, this release has suffered from a seeming lack of content for such a hyped up release, several million hp ships, and a healthy quantity of things being gated behind a $125 pack which is pretty worthless unless you have alts, or play the federation.
It's a solid game. Core mechanics are good and the space/ground combat is fun and satisfying. The presentation is also very good, it looks and sounds very Trek. The F2P model is still one of the best out there. Other pros include the Doffing/R&D systems, purely as alternative things to do in game, and the Devs themselves. Despite the current mood, patches and maintenance still happens, new content still is developed and released at a steady rate (on top of holidays and events) and tweaks/fixes are always being made.
But.
The endgame is awful, pretty much grind and not much else. Despite the good looks there is no substance, extreme focus on combat and very simplified MMO gameplay (turn up to system, shoot some ships, beam down, shoot some bad guys, leave. Rinse and repeat) and for an MMO there is little focus on real teamwork. Feels much more like a single player game with other people around. Other considerations would be the lack of PvP development (which would have helped the endgame quite a bit), balance/creep of all the gear and the overall lack of build/role variety (which again is due to the focus on combat gameplay).
So in conclusion it does what it does very well, there's just not much else there.
Haven't been bothered by any game-breaking bugs, not that bothered by grind much, love the story (and do all such stuff on Normal difficulty), some lag in several of the newer missions but not unplayable, no desire in the upgrade system-
More-or-less positive to me
Was named Trek17.
Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.
There were only two good episodes in terms of story. The rest either made me want to commit genocide (Talaxian fetch) or were mind numbingly boring against hp sponges.
I am generally satisfied with my DR Pack though.
Content is more grindy, income nerfs, obscene upgrade costs, further xp nerf, bad PR, bugs on bugs, can't optimally use my Romulan T6 ships due to no captain training, friend on a Mac can't log in.
Fairly stable servers.
Fleetmate with near constant CTDs, queues empty, no efficient xp grind left or a reasonably priced way to accelerate progress option, no actual increase in difficulty just more DPS hamster wheel garbage, an even more expansive cash grab, several feetmates still have totally bugged loadouts/trays.
Level 60 Ker'rat well be back soon.
On balance, I'd give this expansion a D- and that's being generous.

I agree. I tested on Tribble and saw the writing on the wall snd saved Dilithium. Also saw the issues with leveling and did the cardassian, borg and defari mission as well as redid all the featured edisodes and didn't turn them in......so on the 14th I turned all those missions in and got a head start. Between that and helping fleetmates lever I was 60 in a week.
I give delta rising an A since I didn't lose points as im not an exploiter....
Voice overs, writing, lore: A
Mission progression, nerfs to rewards and xp, requirement of dilithium to do anything and everything including using the captain's toilet: F
I can't give it a grade yet. Since I only did one episode. And most of my other time is being on my Romulan character trying to get her past the Romulan Rep. Which I'm finally almost done.
I will give a review later once I really get a chance to play the new areas.

Fleet Admiral Stowe - Dominion War Vet.
Writing: B-. Vaadwaur story arc is generally good, if partially unresolved, but a lot of the species are just thrown in as one-offs, and the Undine arc is resolved REALLY quickly. Plus, Neelix is an annoying little sh*t.
Main characters: B+. Neelix is a waste of Ethan Phillips and Seven is basically just there, but otherwise the main NPCs, including Eldex and Gaul, are excellent.
Acting: A. Seven's flat, Neelix is a titanic waste of Ethan Phillips, but otherwise it's top-notch.
New content: B. Art is beautiful, writing is decent, leveling up is nearly impossible.
T6 ships: FED C, KDF A+, Rom A. Fed ships other than the Guardian are lackluster at best, but the QIb is a sleek and deadly weapon, the Mat'Ha is a flying gun, and the Rommie ships are an excellent T'varo-like escort and what the D'derpidex should've been.
Queues: C+. New Advanced is kind of absurd for the rewards, but new Elite is a great challenge. Optionals are effectively impossible on new queues on all difficulties.
Bugs: D. Lotta bugs, slow on fixing 'em.
Overall: C+. Could be a hell of a lot better, but not an abomination.
Story missions: D- ( some of them are glorified patrols, writing is below average fanfic level [ as usual ], it's boring and utterly pointless )
New queues: F (utterly pointless, no new mechanics just the same old TRIBBLE AI with more HP )
Bugs: F ( Crytpic never fails to disappoint )
Overall, I'd give it an F+. Plus, because it doesn't crash the game when you try to load it.
It's boring, it's pointless, the changes are not player friendly in any way, shape or form, and the game is bugged to hell.

I give it a C or so. What is there is entertaining story wise I am getting interested in it, but it took me to get to nearly the end to actually get interested as for me it started out a bit slow.
If there were more of it I would give it a B
Player forum Rage Coverage indignation scores in relation to content are as follows;
Forum rage and coverage I give about a B because the forum is not quite covered so I find this lacking in some forum rage coverage content. I think this is due to the fact that the servers are not crashing enough so cryptic has to pick up on this part most definately
Overall though I give everyone an A for effort because I think they are all trying really hard
I havent had to watch TV for a day or so because I have had plenty to read so overall I am enjoying the game quite a lot and when...
I can't play it the forums have kept me well engaged I think. ..

The game was playable before the XP nerf to everyone... If they had simply fixed the exploit and left everything else alone, that would have been fine. Instead, now it's way too boring to level, way too much of a grind, so now the game is just boring...
I was looking at casually gaining 1 specialization point a day, just grinding for several hours. Now, I'm looking at 1 specialization point a week... Just not worth it...
