Missing a couple spec points after the patch.

I am fairly sure I had 20 spec points just a couple hours ago, now I only have 15.

edit: and my skills are INVALID AGAIN? *sighs*

    Edit - Further research has invalidated previous post.

    It's still a kick in the pants, though.

    TD has nothing to do with it, there have been reports from people who were never in TD at all. On the other hand, many people who were in TD did not lose anything. The people who lost points also lost a random amount of it, compeletely different from char to char AND the points they got left cannot be spend on anything. This is a devestating bug and emergency maintenance will surely come up shortly.

    I lost all Spec points earned after 60. I only have 10 now, for the 10 levels gained from 50 to 60. I should have closer to 20, maybe more, didn't keep track.

    Yeah, now that I've caught up, I'm seeing that as well.

    Looks like they broke something trying to fix something again. :( I still can't log in, so I have no idea if I've been affected or not.

    I earned my experience by having ALL missions replayed and ready to turn in the moment X2 went live. That took me to a mind boggling 54. After that it was the delta quadrant content and a lot of borg sector alerts chasing.

    If that qualifies as 'cheating' be my guest.

    My main also lost all additional spec points beyond the initial 10 (which are also no longer allocated but shown as available spec points). Skills are not invalid (however I used the free "invalid" respec given out few days ago when cryptic first tried to fix the crafting traits).

    I'm having the same probs.

    Same thing as last time, skills invalid and this time missing skill points.

    They are greyed out and the purchase button is too.

    Think I lost around 8 points.

    after putting the points, the damage would be

    i lost 18 points, from a whole piloting tree

    Same problem, missing 12 specialization points after forced to respec, again.

    Do we have to respec after every patch now?

    I had 37 LEGITIMATELY earned spec points before the patch. I have 14 now.

    I never teamed for a Tau Dewa patrol... not even once.

    I lost 12 points, maybe 13, I didn't realize I should be counting before I log off in case they try something like this this, lesson learned.

    I did not have to respec skill points, only thing that was reset and taken from me were spec. points.

    20+ points stolen. pilot & intel were both fully spec'd, had 7 in commando. logging after patch, only had 33 points and skills invalid yet again for no reason. thanks cryptic.

    same for me, Points lost, spec resett and purchase button greyed out. skills invalid again.

    Half of my Intel branch is missing. I was only doing content in the Delta Quadrant. 50 to 60 solo. At least 6 points after that solo. The rest in teams. In the correct zone for the content, with people also in the correct zone for the content. I also had to respec again. It takes a great deal of time to respec. It also takes an enormous deal of time to level up skills. I want at least my points back. And stop resetting my skills while at it. It's getting extremely annoying. Thanks.

    Edit: At least my Fed character is unaffected. Figures, you anti-Romulans you! Hehe...

    My contribute to this thread. Previously 16 points now 11.. what i did to earn them were tons of crystalline/sb24 and kobali runs. Why did you take my 5 points? Not mentioning the whole uber boring last episode missions (i hate patrols but i had to do them all) :mad:

    Same here: Cryptic screwed me out of 6 Specialization points.

    THIS IS ****ING UNACCEPTABLE. I WAS NEVER NEAR TAU DEWA, *******S!!

    I want to hit the respec button but I'm a bit worried it'll wipe out what points i do have.

    I really don't understand why it is so hard to get any sort of official word on this?

    Just something along the lines of "We're looking into it" from a Dev would put so many minds at rest.

    I also have lost a ton of specialization points. Now that the skill reward has been cut in half, it is even harder to regain those points.

    All of my post-60 spec points are gone and the entire spec tree has been reset. My skills windows does not have a "skills invalid" button, I was never affected by the skills invalid bug from last week and I haven't respecced in months.

    I also lost spec points I've been grinding in Argala. And I haven't been met (yet) with the 'skills invalid' bug.

    Definitely very annoying because now the xp rewards are only 40% of those before patch (elite lvl 60 Hunter escort gives 350 xp compared to 900 xp a day ago).
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
