Noticing a count down bug with my Heavy Escort Carrier T5-U with Ship Mastery 3 unlocked.
It reads:
26.6% recharge time reduction to launching Carrier pet crafts
+50% Rank Up XP for all Hanger Pets.
Easier if it just said:
"X% less cool down, 50% Faster Veterancy"
But anyway.
I have Yellowstone Runabouts with no flight deck officers, just this new passive rank 3 ship skill.
So what happens?
The Wiki says it is 60 seconds.
Normal cool down (CD) is 37 seconds.
However.. as it begins to count down the time and progress pie graphic jumps around.
Counts from 37 down to 30, then to 24, then to 28, then down to 20, and continues to jump back and forth.
Eventually it finishes with the CD being 37 seconds, verified by stop watch.
Even with a flight deck officer that reduces CD by 3 seconds, a stop watch reveals it is only taking off 2 seconds before the skill truly finished its CD
It starts at 37 seconds too, instead of 34.
In my T5 Vesta, not upgraded, the Yellowstone Runabouts start at 33 seconds!
Also as it counts down there is no interruption or wonkyness with the clock or graphic.
It is a nice smooth countdown to 0.
My Vesta does not have a flight deck officer either.
So bug is the ZEN Heavy Escort Carrier hanger CD times are all messed up and not benefiting from from T5-U Rank 3 upgrade OR flight deck officers!
The Vesta has no issues AND has LESS CD even though it is T5 with no Rank AND no flight deck officer for the same hanger item (Yellowstones)!!
Cryptic please read this and respond that it is being looked into.
I have video of the CD issues.
Both ships are ZEN ships and cost real money, the upgrade cost even more money, so please fix this bug promptly.
Exact same issue with the Caitian Atroix carrier. Came to this forum just to see if anyone else had the issue. Thank you for the great explanation. You detailed it a lot better than I could have!
after you make the first lvl up for your T5u ship you break your cooldown for most ships!!!: D
for example xindi carrier will get with lvl 1 "-40% hangar CD"
but after you get the skill the cooldown will be increased not reduced!!
it works so.
first it counts a cooldown, then comes the bonus, then 1-2 secounds pass, then the cooldown get added 4-5 seconds"for unknown reason" and dada you have a longer CD in total!!!!
so many new bugy in the game.......: Rolleyes:

all carriers have now longer CD coz it brings mor fun.
The passive does work, the problem is that its not staying active.
Notice the buff that appears on your ship every ~10 seconds.
The cooldown isn't longer, whats happening is that the buff enables, removes a few seconds from the cooldown because it becomes active, then ends, adding those seconds back to the cooldown.
I know there are a ton of bugs right now, but you would think someone would at least acknowledge them. This is the main reason why I even bothered to upgrade my ship... But hey, what do they care, they already have my monies.
Askray said in another post several days ago that they are not obligated to look at the forum at all, and essentially we should be bloody grateful for them to deign to notice us. Don't expect any kind of response from them.
