ship upgrade tokens

please tell me once you complete a ship upgrade it upgrades it account wide? for of course account wide ships.

or else whats the point of buying them for each account.

    It does. In the case of three packs it works only on the varient you have upgraded, for example if you upgrade the sci vesta that varient will be upgraded account wide, but not the other two.

    Also, if you upgraded the regular or Fleet version, then the other version is upgraded as well. So if I have a Catian Atrox and upgrade it, then I can get the Fleet Caitian Atrox and upgrade it for free.

    if i buy a 4 ship tokens pack, can i use these on different characters? I'd like to upgrade at least one fed, romulan and klingon ship and i need to know if i have to buy one token per character or only once per account, which is cheaper.

    Ship Upgrade Tokens are just too expensive!

    Why would I buy a T5 ship and an Upgrade Token for a total of 3200 Zen hen I can buy a T6 ship for 3000 Zen?

    Yes, you do have to make the T6 ships attractive but they're going to be better than the T5-U anyway so why not just make the tokens 500 Zen?

    Yes. Upgrade Tokens can be transferred; and even put on the Exchange and sold for EC.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Because many people have had T5 ships for a while and will spend$7 but not $30

    Question, if I use the upgrade token to upgrade a Fleet Patrol Escort (one with the tail gun), will that automatically upgrade the Fleet Patrol Escort (without the tail gun and the 4T, 4E, 2 S consoles)? I sure hope not as I want to keep that legacy Fleet Patrol Escort. Same question applys to the C-store Patrol Escort with regards to the legacy Fleet Patrol Escort(the one with the 4Tac, 4 Eng, 2 Sci consoles).

    No in the case of the fleet patrol escort, it's a different ship from the refit.
