Some of the systems have so much lag that they're borderline unplayable. The Sakari system, Ocampan patrol area, and Shivolia system in particular are pretty bad and in desperate need of some optimization. My FPS goes completely down the toilet in some of these maps...
seem like the stellar systems with layered backgrounds cause the incredible lag on alot of systems . come on cryptic this is a old game you have to expect users with older systems . older maps run fine its these new maps that have a TRIBBLE load in the back ground that hurt performance. hell there are some having issues with these that have state of the art cards . make it tweekable so we can turn of these effects

It's not just you chaps. This nonsense is especially galling if your main punch consists of a DBB and paired DHCs - the inexplicable performance issues make proper manuver pretty much impossible (you end up oversteering all the time). I am wondering what assumptions about players' systems - and we all know the reason why we should never assume, no? - were made at relevant points in the design process.

Maybe it is something to do with FPS in each map maybe not being drawn correctly so to spk..
Would be helpful if we can get a reply from a dev on this pls :-)
