Bringing my Fleet D'D. I'll upgrade it eventually but I'm in no hurry. If Smirk's playstyle from the last stream is any indication, Cryptic doesn't know what a hard difficulty is.
Honestly, the only thing I'm looking forward to in DR so far is the upgrade system, hopefully with some system to change/add specific modifiers to gear.
I have an Ar'kif that gets me through things, but it's not my style. I got it to have a quality ship until they finally gave us a full carrier (which, with how many ships have gotten hangars put on them in the last year, seems less and less likely). I'm not going to pay to upgrade a ship that was already a half-measure.
So the ship I'll be flying may end up being a Vo'quv and my Rom will go on maintenance mode, upgrade gear, find xp avenues that work in a T5 and...keep waiting :9.
Still, should they do so I'm excited to see what specialization it might get associated with.
You should, upgrading Event/Lobi/Lockbox/Promotion ships to T5-U11 is free. That's why I will be bringing Event ships until I decide which T6 ship(s) to purchase. I might upgrade a Fleet Mogai, or pick up and upgrade a Scimitar variant for my Roms... though T5-U is a dead-end since we know that Fleet T6-11 will be introduced eventually (and flying a T5-U10/11 means you are not progressing towards a Starship Trait unlock either). Bringing something without the progressive improvements and passive unlocks from the Mastery Levels seems like a bad plan outside of the Episodes.
I would prefer to have her use a distinctly Orion ship, but between the cost of upgrading the existing ones, I am content to use the Corvette. Now if I could only get a uniquely Risian or Orion interior to go with it, I would be immensely satisfied.
34 out of 35 of my toons are ready to make the jump into the Delta Quadrant. I'm running a little bit of everything... Even my Mirror Ships (Vo'Quv, Mogai, Negh'Var) are going to be making the trip as I see no reason not to use them. Most of my toons these days, I use only for Doffing, Events, or Dil refinement, but it will be nice to dust off those characters, update them a little bit, and get some extended use out of them for a change.
At this point I am not making any plans to purchase any of the T6 ships but will be upgrading all my current ships to T5U (except for the Mirror ships, of course).

My Fed Eng (Main toon) will take the fleet dread cruiser while my KDF toon will bring the fleet mogh and my rommie will properly take the hanon warbird to the delta quadrant. All of them would say "Should be fun.".
For my main character(Romulan Science) I'll be brigging my Ambassdor class Support Class crusier. This beast can take on hell of a beating and I think I'll need to take the beating considering what I might be fighting :cool:
I've scrounged up enough funds for an upgrade. The ship: Fleet Assault Cruiser Refit. Why? Because it is my tact's main battleship and it is my best ship ever. Yes, yes, I know people have better escorts and blah blah blah, but not me!

Finally made my choice. I'd wanted to go Scryer, Qib, and Aelahl but funds aren't permitting that. So instead I'll be using FT5U Luna, FT5U Kamarag, and FT5U D'Deridex on my mains. Finally got around to getting my Romulan and Klingon a fleet ship each.

I think i even get a T5U upgrade for free if my memory serves me right.
I got it from the Lobi store rather than the event as I did not feel like grinding for it on each and every character. I also have the 9-pack, so I may try using the 4 piece set on the T5-U Event Dyson if it is indeed a free upgrade.
On the back-burner 'cause my KDF fleet is slow to develop...

Upgraded Charals for my feds. Most fed ships I find really ugly, I just do not like fed design style, so I'll take the Charals for their looks.
On the Klingon Style, I'm not sure. Either the new raptor, or upgraded Moghs.
And the free Dyson sci-ships and free Breen ships I got on some chars.
My romulans will get Scimitars I think. Not sure if my fleet T'varo is worth the upgrade. Depends on how much the tokens will cost.
