How can I get my NX Class ready for the Delta Quadrant?

With exploration of the Delta Quadrant just around the corner I can't wait to set sail across the stars and meet new life.

Unfortunately some of these new lifeforms seem a little rough.

How can I get my NX Class ready for the Delta Quadrant? Any and all solutions welcome. Grapple is a must!

Install a cloaking device and forget about engaging anything larger than a type 8 shuttle.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Make sure to have Hazard Emitters 1 on , and heal real ships coming into ESD. :D

Unfortunately, not even DR's massive power jump will save an NX- in Delta Rising, you should swap to an Akira of some sort and pretend your helm officer is incompetent and flies upside down.

You will not survive, or even complete, DR content in an NX.

Unless you are an utter DPS god, as you need to kick out 3 times what your ship is actually capable of putting out just not to be carried through a new ESTF.

Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Forced to agree. There are T5 ships that will struggle with the NEW elite level STF's.

Struggle yes, but not be unable to do, the requirement isn't that high.

Players are an entirely different question, 80% or more players (upwards of 90% right now, future power leap brings it down significantly) will not be able to do an ASTF or ESTF.

Two pieces of the Borg Set will give you a strong hull heal. Then maybe the Dyson Shield and Warp Engine. I seem to remember the Dyson Shield also has some self-healing capabilities, and you want that.

    Tactical Team I
    Hazard Emitters I
    Emergency Power to Shields I

2 Front DHC, 1 Aft Turret. Best mark and rarity you have. I believe Disruptors and Anti-Protons are the most popular here, but Phasers would be the "classic" choice. Maybe the ones from the Undine Rep. Then you probably should also look into the Undine console/weapon set?

Steps to prep your NX for DR:

    1. Install Netflix on your Bridge Viewscreen.

    2. Watch Voyager.

    3. Return to the game, swearing to never set foot in the DQ.

With a tier one ship in DR, your best dps attack is "helm, RAMMING SPEED!"

I'm digging these answers so far! I quite like installing Netflix on the viewscreen and Leveling up Abandon Ship.

    Keep going!

An NX-Class? In the DELTA QUADRANT?!?!?

    This is my only reply.

Put your tactical and communications officers in charge of the ship. They're the only competent people on board.

Other than that, you'll have to rely on good writing. Hope that you got the last two seasons.

Pack your antimatter containment field as full as you can get it - I recommend antihydrogen, compressed until it's metallic (that should make it easier to contain, as well). Then find an enemy craft, and ram it just as hard as you can, firing your weapons all the way in to drop its shields. The explosion when you impact should be quite impressive...
