MK XIII Shields and MK XIII Warp Cores

Every shield that I try to upgrade seems to have the same stat as the MK XII. What is the point???

Why do all the warp cores only upgrade the skill point bonus by 1.3 points? That is nothing for the cost requirement.

    I haven't tried the shields, because i plan to see what is the delta alliance one. About the warp cores - absolutely agree with you. I use elite plasma integrated warp core and the only part of it that upgrades is the efficiency. The way i see it, the warp core upgrade is useless. there is also another equipment with minor changes. But still i doubt it is a bug, i bet it is working as intended.

    The shield not increasing stats seem to be a bug. I upgraded a fleet warp core yesterday but I didn't check at the stats.

    The warp cores only have 1 stat that scales up. Unless you really like that 1 skill, upgrading is 100% useless.

    I upgraded my KHG Shields & the stats stayed the same then 2 days later they upgrade,,!!!!!!

    Seems that some people have no problem upgrading and for others its just a waste of time,,,,,,,,,,,,

    Same. My MACO shield will not upgrade properly. I've been afraid to try it on any other shield. So far, consoles get the most from their upgrade costs.

    The Weapons upgrades are ok. Mk 12 beam array with no damage modifiers when upgraded to Mk13 does the same damage as mk12 with 2 DMG modifiers (or exactly the same as fleet beam array)
    The Deflector upgrades are well not too bad, it doesnt make a big difference but at least all the stats are upgraded (or at least in the tholian rep deflector)
    The rest - mm as we said the warp core upgrade is insanely overpriced for minor boost in just 1 skill, the engines also seems to get too minor upgrade only to few stats.

    I have had an item lose dps from an upgrade. I can't wait until Cryptic acknowledges this huge bug.

    There are issues with the upgrading system. Fixes are incoming.

    There should have been base value improvements.

    Yah, Klingon Honor Guard Shields don't upgrade in stats past MK XII, probably a bug.

    Yea could we at least get some confirmation from Devs or someone this is a known issue and is it a display issue where it's not showing the correct stats in the upgrade window, or is the set shields truely not gettting ANY form of stats increase at all after upgrades?

    Slotted an Adapted MACO Shield but when comparing the Mk XII with the Mk XIII proposed shield there was zero differences in any of the stats.

    Not working as intended :P

    I have noted at least a marginal increase to those things I have upgraded, though not as much as they should have been, so I am in complete agreement with the OP and those who have posted since.

    However, the REAL problem I am having is that in both cases - between two different characters - wherein I have upgraded my cannon weapons consoles (prefire chambers) to MK XIII, they have suddenly become unusable to each toon. The message reads "you do not reach the minimum qualifications for this item," or something to that effect.

    Ummm...hello? Was this not the point - to be able to upgrade to MK XIII gear, or as best we can, PRIOR to the DR release? And, what ARE the minimum qualifications? As far as I was aware from all of these "Operations Reports" and blogs, you only have to BE level 50 to gear up to MK XIV and to possess "Epic"-quality gear (i.e. from the Lobi store, etc.) - nothing I have read says anything about being level '51+' to own MK XIII and higher gear!!

    So...what gives? Right now, I have two toons with MK XIII consoles that are unusable/un-slottable, so I have had to buy lower-level replacements from the EX to operate at max efficiency...

    This DOES have to be a glitch, right?
