Ship rename does not work

  I did, once, in the initial rename window. But where I renamed it from the ship selection screen, it worked.

  I'm having the same problem except my problem isn't the c-store.

  Everybody has the same problem. You need to rename the ship once you have it on your list in the active roster. In the moment of buying it, you cant rename it, it will throw that message over and over again.

  me too Ive not been able to rename any of my bridge officers or star ships ether and i am a commander

  I can't find the rename button in the ship selection window, myself.
  
  Is this a known bug?
