Not FBP specifically, but as I explained its part of an overall problem, no need to kill people with DHC, lets just run FBP builds and be lazy. Well with less real ships to fight less people show up to fight them so I do think it is a big part of why there are so few in pvp. I kill people all the time running it so it isn't much of a problem for me, but I don't have fun fighting only sci ships running FBP, I would log in a lot more and I am sure others would too if there were more normal builds to fight.

yes, FBP abusers are one of the main reasons why pvp community is so small, such a boring skill, I still kill people all the time that use it and rarely die to it, that doesn't mean I shouldn't despise a skill so destructive to the pvp community. If you played KDF you would notice it more, so many Feds run lame FBP sci ships that don't do anything useful in PVP besides make themselves not get vaped as much, they are hurting themselves and their team by not using proper support builds.
They are making it more boring for us by not presenting enough of a challenge as a result of their self centered misguided attempts to survive vapes. We have lots of sci players and we almost never run FBP on sci ships or escorts because we are busy running stuff useful to the team and to getting kills.
Basically FBP being everywhere causes us to see less cruisers and escorts to fight, and causes the sci ships we do see to be annoying but not much challenge.
I hardly even log on now because its always the same thing, wait for FBPer like Mom to pop FBP, wait, vape, rinse repeat, get bored, leave.

That is hardly an exploit its part of the mechanic. If there able to kill you in that short window every 5min that would be the fbp users failing not theres. FBP should not likely be there only defense.
I mean they could just as easily wait 15s or just nuke the FBP user.

Its not an exploit though... its the skill working exactly as it states it works. Its also a 5min cool down rep skill vs a 60s or less skill. Honestly do something other then FBP... not because its lame or something stupid... but because its the most predictable thing you can possibly do. Yes they know the counters to it... if they have a sci around your just making yourself nuke bait. More then likely there running silly low hull cloak ships... if your in a sci ship there are plenty of ways to make them pay for that game play style. If your getting jumped by 5 guys... well group up, bring some friends. Besides if you don't swap consoles based on my advice they have no reason to laugh at you at all. Perhaps they will group up and give you a few proper fights. Main issue with kerrat of course is half the feds in there have no clue there even in a PvE zone. For them its just a place to grind some purples and some free D once a day. The few that are good players often have no support... fighting cloaked vape style... or heavy sci lockbox builds alone is always going to be ugly. Nothing against Hobos for being good kerrat organizers... just wish in general they wouldn't act like complete jerks when the other side does attempt to give them a fight.

The use of CD s'ploits is something they have done for years. I have a screen where they accused us of using them after we ****ed them up in a fvk. I lol'd at that considering their use of that **** forced me to play my fed. I couldn't stand pugging with people that used broken ****. That's not in the spirit of PVP.
Personally, I consider console-swapping to be an exploit. I was hoping the 30 second on-swap CD would make it substantially less optimal behavior and might thereby fix it. I will nuke it from orbit as soon as I can - it just means we can't do cool things like make set bonuses that reduce the cooldown of a given console power, etc.
It's adjustable - we'll tune it up if people are still abusing item swaps. We want to avoid inconvenience to non-exploiting players, but decrease the efficiency of item-swap exploits enough that it's no longer appealing enough...

It would be a deep impact for the premade pvp scene to loose such an outstanding and epic fellow team player like you which would make me quite sad. please reconsider your decision at least again.
